This is one the best places for a burger in Lafayette or the surrounding areas.  Don't let the unassuming exterior detract you from stopping by!  While sporting a spectacular two page menu(and everything is amazing), they also have a full service bar!  Amazing lunch and happy hour place and doubles as great nightlife and late night food.  Highly recommended!!

We went to Lafayette to visit the Big Guy's family, and this joint was recommended as a having a good burger. This chic can handle only *so
much* seafood, and some red meat was in order.

To say this place ain't the Taj Mahal would be an understatement. Still, there's something kinda nice about a dive. They have 2 pool tables, a juke box and a fully stocked bar. The server was both barkeep and chef, and she whipped up some pretty delicious burgers. I had a standard cheeseburger. It had a nice little bite to it - don't know what was used to season the patty, but it was really good! Zapp's chips are served, and they have a handful to choose. I went with jalapeno, which was a nice combo with the zip of the burger.

Our server was super-nice and attentive. The only holdout I have on this place is the kinda seedy feeling. Prices are great, though! And smokers don't even need to light up - there wasn't a single smoker there and yet you could swear there was a dozen or so smokers right next to you!

Unassuming building. Not the friendliest service, but the burgers are about the best in Lafayette. I recommend the Swiss and mushroom burger..... Slap ya Momma good! FYI, Saturday is 2 for 1 dine- in $7.00. Zapp chips no fries.
