Fun place to go f'er food n booze. Service is usually terrible from servers that come to your table- particularly if you are there to watch Monday night football.... Thats why the 2 stars. Best bet is to go to the bartender directly. Other than that, check the place out for sure if your looking for a fun neighborhood bar.
Review Source:I love going to place I haven't been in a long time. And finding out they have done a ton of upgrades. The Leprechaun Inn has definitely done this! All the TVs have been upgraded and huge! If you are coming to watch a game you can't look in any directions without seeing it. On top of that they have added on a patio area with a huge TV and two fireplaces. Very nice for the cold season we have going on currently. They offer some good food with huge portions. I love the fact they offer potato salad, pasta salad or sweet potato fries as sides with their dishes. And they do have daily specials that aren't on the menu. So make sure you look and see what that is for sure. I have a feeling I will be back here soon.
Review Source:If you're a guy and you're trying to get out and meet the opposite sex(if you're trying to meet the same sex you may want to try Jam)this may not be the right place. Not because there aren't ladies here. There are ladies. But this is a sports bar mostly and the ladies seem to normally be dragged along by their Jazz rooting boyfriends(GO KNICKS!). But other than that there are tons of TVs here that you won't miss a second of the action no matter which sport it is you're hoping to see. And you have the bar section to sit at if you need your drinks one right after the other. A section more dedicated to a restaurant atmosphere where you can sit down and enjoy the game with some buds and some buds. They have the typical fried bar food which is honestly all you really need at a place like this, so don't complain that your fish sticks weren't just right you elitist idiots. And then you have the pool section. It is one big room so it's not like these parts are all separated, so it really has a party feel to it all through out. I'd say the age range is late 20s to mid 30s for the most part. As usual I was the best looking and most fashionably dressed in the joint. The waitresses were attentive and made sure to keep my mates the opposite of sober the entire night. Go Giants!
Review Source:Sports bar in the Ivy Place shopping center in Murray, best described as Irish Bar Lite. Surprisingly good food. Lots of huge televisions on which to watch the games, this is perhaps the best Hockey bar in the Valley! Better for cocktail drinkers than beer fans, which is fine by me. Plenty of parking, and there's a Wells Fargo branch on the south side of the shopping center. A really underrated bar. Great for Sunday afternoons, BTW.
Review Source:I have fond memories of the Leprechaun. I lived across the street when I turned 21, so I would head over for drinks on a nightly basis and stumble my way back home.
I returned last week for the first time in years and the place has changed a bit. It's definitely more of a sports bar than just a dive. I divey sports bar would accurately describe the Leprechaun. They have huge tv's literally everywhere. Booths, tables, high tops, and pool tables and video games. It's a great place to watch the game, have a few beers and eat some grub.
The food is standard pub fare. I've always thought it a little strange that it was an Irish pub but didn't serve and typically Irish food. On the menu you'll find wings, burgers, and Mexican. The wings are great, you get like 16 for $8. They are not hot wings though, they are bbq-d wings without BBQ sauce. Different, but delicious nonetheless. The burgers are pretty awesome for a bar.
They don't have a huge selection of beers on tap though. I believe they only had Squatters beers and Coors Light.
The place is obviously doing something right, as we went on a Sunday at 4pm and it was busy.
Surprisingly good burgers and fries. Â I was a little worried when my bacon cheese burger came out with unmelted american cheese slapped on it, but after the first bite my fears were allayed. Â The bacon was nice and crispy, the bun was toasted and was a good compliment to the burger.
The only real complaint would be that the TV I was sitting next was way too loud, but that could have been solved by choosing a different seat.
great Irish themed pub. Â Ample seating with TV screens in every corner. Â Great place to go out with friend and enjoy your favorite sports venue. Â Tried the sampler plate, with chili poppers and deep fried zucchini, nothing but great things to say. Â Also really recommend the burgers, very good gourmet style burgers. Â Bar looked good and tenders seemed to look and be exceptionally nice. Â
I would have given this place 5 stars but was missing the typical pub grub, i.e) bangers and mash, Yorkshire puddings, Shepard's pie.
