I can see why people would like this little bar but it just hasn't clicked for me. Since I'm not a smoker it seems really smokey to me. The bartenders seem to pay more attention to the people they know than a new patron even when sitting with regulars. It's on Bruce B Downs which might be the worst road in Tampa to drive on do to the never ending road construction.
Review Source:I have been coming here for the past 2 years and I have never had a bad time. Â Same crew of regulars and bartenders almost every night. Â Just like Brandi said, it is a local haunt where everyone knows you. Â They do not offer food, but you can order and have it delivered there from the various places nearby. Â They have one pool table, a megatouch, Golden Tee, NTN trivia, and cornhole set up outside in the parking lot. Â Everyone's friendly and it's a diverse mix of people. Â It's a pretty small place, maybe 20 seats at the bar, along with 4 or 5 tables inside and maybe 3 or 4 outside tables on a very tiny patio. Â They do have text specials. Â When you sign up, you get a free drink code to show the bartender. Â It's been getting much busier lately, mostly on the weekends. Â I'd say come on down and see how awesome they are, but part of me is selfish and likes it the way it is - chill, local, and very low key:)
Oh, and they allow smoking and cigars as well. Â They do leave the doors open, so it's not super overpowering, but if there is a guy next to you with a cigar, you will smell like it!
I've came to this lil' bar when it first opened and have been coming almost every week ever since. It is a "hole in the wall type of place where you can walk in and feel like you're at "Cheers".... basically everyone knows your name AND has the beer ready for you as soon as you belly up to the bar". Even though you can smoke here, it doesn't overpower you (coming from a nonsmoker). There are specials going on during the week such Ladies Night on Wednesday and weekly free texts that feature bogo on ANYTHING! They also feature a hospitality discount that's worth it on your way home from a long night.
