Go for the SOUP!
Fantastic place, situated on a quiet downtown street. We ate outside on a warm day, but they also have a solarium style room and a dining room. Inside is very nice. The bathroom gives the illusion that you're at a B&B.
I had a Mexican pork stew that was one of the best soups I ever had. Came with fresh avocado, radishes, chips and other things to add to the stew. One son had the chicken noodle, which was definitely home made. Sandwiches were good as well.
One lady I ran into said she was from MD and had been looking forward to the salads since she last passed through! Highly recommended!
This restaurant has the quality of food that you hope to find when going outside your comfort zone. Â Excellent omelets, and sandwiches. Â Everything tastes extra fresh. Â The operators have even gone the extra mile to make sure the Bathroom continues the theme from the rest of the interior. Â The wait staff was very efficient.
Review Source:Amazing soups! The beef noodle was outta this world. Husband had "The Rachel" I was jealous, i ordered the turkey cranberry, was good but not my fav as the soup stold the show. Clean place and good service, glad i Yelped this place from the interstate and was able to exit off and easily get to it. Worth the extra mile drive off the road.
Review Source:I agree with the previous reviewer, Kurt. Â Finally we have a lasting deli in Milton. Â That poor location has seen several establishments come and go. Â Great food. Â Awesome soups. Â My only comment is the ventilation system. Â We ate inside in December and came out smelling like fried food. Â Not very appetizing, but it wouldn't stop me from going back.
Review Source:Lisa's Deli inhabits a store front that has seen several attempts at being an eatery fail. Â Her deli looks like it might make it for the long haul. Â They opened this Spring. Â This has allowed them to have outdoor seating, Â In the winter, they may become crowded with only inside seating.
The soups are all made from scratch, the sandwiches and wraps are loaded, and salads appear to be fresh cut (no bagged veggies here). Â I have had several of the soups and have not been disappointed with any of them. Â The primary indicator for me, when judging a deli, is the quality of pastrami sandwiches and/or the Reuben. Â I have tried the Reuben and it receives a hearty thumbs up. Â
The downside might be the price. Â Some of the sandwiches might appear pricey. Â They are not. Â They are filled with lots of quality ingredients. Â In a strange dining paradox, I think the pricing has helped draw in more customers. Â The sense is that "this is not a dive, but a dining establishment" has been created; where it was not in previous attempts to open a restaurant here.
Worth the drive if you are from a neighboring town. Â If visiting Milton, the current "must stop" for lunch.
