So we went a little bit closer to closing time, and the place was pretty empty.  There were some wayward flies that must've gotten in from earlier customers but who knows how long they've been hovering around the place.  Both the hubby and I ordered the mushroom swiss burgers.  He got fries on the sides, I got chips.  The chips were good - outside brand.  The fries were quite a bit soggy.  The burger was okay--not as fresh either.  We were both kind of disappointed since a lot of people have been speaking so highly about their burgers.  We might try to go again during their busy hours to see if that might make a difference in their service and food.  Although, it really shouldn't matter what hour a customer comes in--the food should always have a consistent quality and freshness.

I was actually surprised at the quality of food here, restaurants with "Cafe" in the name always scares me away since I think of them as refrigerated manufactured foods like you see in a airport Cafe.

We needed a quick lunch and I was in the mood for hamburger. I told my wife that Eagle Mountain needed a hamburger place and if there wasn't one I'd start a burger joint in town. She found this Cafe and ordered to go. When she brought me a BBQ Bacon burger. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality, it tasted like they grilled it in my back yard which is how I like them. Even the buns tasted homemade. The bacons were real and fresh.

Later we went and I wanted to try something else so I got the pulled pork sandwitch. Again I was impressed with the flavors and quality, they just needed more meat in it (next time I'd ask for more sauce).

My wife ordered the Turkey Avocado sandwitch both times we went and that was also very fresh and good. I'm happy this place exists in town. It's kind of hidden and appears small from the outside.

This place is up there among my favorites for hamburgers.

There have been several attempts by previous tenants to make a go of this location in the Ranches.  The Little Corner Cafe has put together a great menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

They are across the street from the Chevron, offer great specials and fantastic service. The Philly Cheese steak sandwiches are a great hit. In the mornings they have all you can eat french toast, 5.95 lunch specials and now offer delivery service to city center, ranches and harvest hills.

A great value for your money, and delicious food too.
