If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Â We ordered a pesto pizza with pine nuts and tomatoes and it was horrible! The crust tasted like cardboard, there was barely any sauce, and the tomatoes were just added on top - they weren't baked in! I wish I had known and saved my $$ b/c honestly, I've had frozen pizza that tastes better. Â
Cons: Costly for poor tasting pizza
Pros: NONE!
This pizza is like cardboard and the owners are still jerks. Â They act like they are doing you a favor when they take your order. Â The neon lights are horrible and half the time they have some in appropriate TV show on the big screen (b/c no eats there and it's most likely the workers that are watching the show). Â Â Even though this place is right down the street- we got to Malibu for our pizza now.
Review Source:I live right across the street from this place so I go here pretty often. The owners are really cool and they know my name just flyer the first few visits.
The pizza is really good. Medium crust that's not too doughy. Could use a little more cheese. The sauce is zesty and the toppings are quality.
It's a great place to watch sports as they have quite a few flat screens and a pretty decent beer selection.
Giving them one star based on the fact that they won't honor the coupon that they put out in the entertainment coupon book. I called for delivery and they told me that the coupon is only good for pick up, the guy any other end of the phone said that it should say on there that it's only good for pick up when I read them everything that was on the coupon he still refused to accept the coupon. ONE STAR'
Review Source:Great pizza, cheerful employees and pretty quick service. Â My favorite is their supreme pizza -yum! Â They do have some unique types of pizza, though, if you are interested in trying something different (such as Tandoori Pizza). We usually have the food delivered but recently they remodeled their restaurant so it's now full of big screen TVs, so a fun place to go, too.
When our kids were young we sometimes walked over to this pizza place for lunch with their friends or small birthday parties. Â The proprietors were always very good with groups big and small.
I honestly think it's the best pizza in Los Gatos. Â For people living in east Los Gatos or Cambrian Park, it's a neighborhood place that would be easy to miss...but give it a spin!
This place is great!
Its local family owned business with great pizza which is why I give it 4 stars. The Chicken Garlic Pizza and the Spicy Mexican Pizza is my favorite. Service is great and the whole team there is very accommodating. I've been going there for many years and now love the fact that they just recently remodeled and have added LED TV's all around the place. I will be there for more sporting events as now there is a TV to look at no matter which way you sit or look. I will definitely be taking my group of friends here for good pizza and cold beer.
Calzone is really good - my favorite thing there (and the only reason for the 4th star)! only complaint is that the onions in them are always undercooked - frequently raw. Â Weird part to me is that they always put the onions right along where they seal it up, which seems to be why they don't cook. Â
Pizza is good (nothing amazing). Â kids seem to like it. Â my daughter likes the buffalo wings.
Delivery times aren't the fastest in town, usually 40-45 minutes is what they say. they can sometimes be slower than what they tell you. Â I've had to wait well over an hour, when told 40 minutes, and we live pretty close by.
given the options in the area, they are the best choice if you want good pizza DELIVERED, at not a terrible price. Â They aren't the cheapest, but they aren't the most expensive either. Â Wish i had seen the yelp 10% deal sooner... cuz they don't ever bring coupons with the pizzas.
I LOVE ordering Pizza from this place. It is soooo delicious!!!!
Lately we've been ordering our pizza for pick-up. Â They are really close to my house, yet for delivery it's a 40 minute wait verses a 15 minute wait if we pick-up.
Ok, we'll pick-up. Â Prices are very reasonable.
By the way, did I say that I LOVE their pizza!!!!!!!!!!!
Pizza: Boring and Unremarkable. Â Crust was too dense and dry.
Furnishings: OK, but dated
Service: Unfriendly. They made me feel like I was imposing on thier afternoon when I went in for a pizza at about 4:30pm. Â Only one free refill on soda?!? The owner kept changing the channel on the big screen TV, which was annoying...
Price: Too high for the quality of the food.
Overall: Â find somewhere else to go...
I go to Los Gatos Pizza because my daughter takes dance class at Dance Attack. I order a pizza weekly. I have to say that I am not a big fan. It's not totally gross, but I would never go out of my way to get this pizza. It's the type of pizza that tastes worse when it gets cold. The garlic bread was bad, and the calzone was worse than the bread. Pizza is edible.
Review Source:These guys rock! I have been coming to Los Gatos Pizza for years, they never disappoint. If you enjoy and pizza place that doesn't have tons of kids running around out of control then this is your place. They always have movies playing or sport on the large flat screen TV! I can go on and on, but here's the deal, good pizza, great staff, cold beer, and a place where I can put this all together with some peaceful TV time! O'yeah now it's time to relax and enjoy.
Review Source:I ordered delivery from here. The lady on the phone seemed annoyed that a customer would hassle her with trying to place an order! She hung up before giving me the total, and when I called back to find out, she had me repeat the order to her, than shouted off the phone to someone "Yeah, he wants to know his total," as though I was the biggest pain in the butt! I also dared to ask if I could pay by credit card, and she basically said it would be a hassle. I paid cash.
The pizza was decent, but the chef salad seriously had grocery store lunch meat, as well as sliced up processed cheese squares!
Not too appetizing...
Okay, fresh off the wagon from 5-day/week gym routine, I was yearning for some pizza. Not one for run-of-the-mill, I decided to yelp (memo: I ONLY yelp before I belch) and found Los Gatos Pizza. Between my indecision to eat pizza or eat at all (at this dreadful hour), I chose pizza; my final answer.
3.0 miles away from my pad, dogs loved the ride (especially the winding road of Blossom Hill) and I loved the thrill of finding a new foodie fort. 2 slices (in the car--1/2 slice each for the barking kiddos) later, I felt content. Although the crust wasn't as crispy as I requested, I found the first bite heavenly. Â The first is always the best. This place did not disappoint. Â More "Hangover" than "Old School" but it stood on its own merit. I now know where to go for an "almost like Poppa Rollos (homage to Waco) Pizza."
Now the question is, "Where did I put my ranch sauce?" Bon Apetite!
I just got off the table after eating the pizza and came to write the review. This is one of the best pizzas I have eaten. I ordered half tandoori ckn and half garlic ckn pizza. Both tasted awesome. Kids loved the mini cheese pizza too.
It took me some time before I gave a shot to this joint, as I live very close to Round Table Pizza. I'd say it was worth a shot. I'd try their other specialty pizzas soon. I'd come back and give 5 stars if other pizzas are as good too.
I went here again on Thursday for some more oh-so delicious BBQ chicken pizza.
First thing I notice is they are playing Mission Impossible on the big screen. Now, this was lunch time on a weekday. Not late at night on a weekend. Not yet happy hour. So I was a little peeved about having to spend five bucks in quarters to keep my four year old distracted from the violent movie. After MI ended, the man nicely changed the channel to the end of Angels in the Outfield. He had almost redeemed himself! But as soon as that ended, he turned on some R rated movie with way too much sex and violence. My daughter was not the only small child there either.
Now I don't expect pizza joints to play Yo Gabba Gabba or anything, but at least turn on sports or something appropriate for all ages. Pizza places are supposed to be a family friendly environment! Needless to say, we packed up our pizza and left. From now on, I'm only getting delivery.
And on a side note, we tried the tandoori chicken.. Not good, or even decent.
I've only ever gotten delivery from Los Gatos Pizza, so I can't tell you anything about the restaurant. We ordered a medium half- BBQ chicken and half pesto treat, both with no onions, an order of hot wings, and an order of garlic bread. We also asked for four sides of ranch, which we were pretty sure would end up to be 2 sides of ranch. Ever been to Jack-In-The-Box and tried asking for more than one ranch? They swear like each one comes out of their own damn paycheck!
Anyway.. everything arrived in about 40 minutes, right on time. Both pizzas were really delicious! I love pesto, but I don't really love bbq sauce, so I was expecting not to like the bbq chicken pizza much. It turned out that I really loved the bbq chicken pizza because they didn't drown it in sauce. I can't decide which one I liked better. Their orders of hot wings are really big. We usually end up fighting to the death over the last hot wing because there are never enough, but we actually have leftovers! Shocking. The wings were not the best I've ever had, but they weren't bad, either. Also, we got our 4 sides of ranch. :D I didn't try the garlic bread, so I can't say much about it other than it looked tasty.
I really wish Los Gatos Pizza was nearer to my house. The food and the prices are both really great. I want to come eat at the restaurant and try some more pizzas soon.
This place is awful, I'm talking people eating out of the salad bar and that weird greasy cheep imatation cheese aftertaste awful.
You know those strip malls that are in slow decay, where the big giant "anchor" stores  have left years back and all that's left are litte karate shops just trying to stay alive.  Los Gatos Pizza is in one of those strip malls and over the past 5 years it has gone from "good enough because its close" to "I would rather drive out of my neighborhood for pizza then go there".
We had a bad experience 2 years back, decided to go tonight to give them a chance, the place has only gotten worse. Â Even the employees that work there don't seem to want to be there.
It's really sad, because it is the closest pizza place for us and as a family, well, we love pizza. Â I wish someone would buy this decaying strip mall and renovate it, complete with a new Los Gatos Pizza and new owner, one that knows how to make good pizza, a pizza place worth of carrying the fine Los Gatos name. Â
Don't go there, do the neighborhood a service and force change for the better, we deserve it
This was our first time ordering from this place. Â We did our usual trying-out-a-new pizza place routine, one of their speciality pizzas and a side order. Â We decided on the Queen's Gourmet (pesto sauce, cheese, garlic, tomatoes and pine nuts and an order of garlic bread. Â We ordered it delivery and were very pleased with the wait time (around 30 minutes) and the price ($21 even). Â I have to give it up for the garlic bread, seriously one of the best garlic breads I've had in a long time, I highly suggest getting this with your next/first order. Â 6 pieces for $1.75, what a steal. Â Our large Queen's Gourmet pizza I would give 3/5 stars. Â The pesto sauce with the pine nuts was a great combination, but the dough was a little hard and the crust didn't have that much flavor to it. Â The garlic tasted fresh, but the tomatoes were a little soft and fell off the pizza easily. Â It was still a tasty pizza and I would order it again, but next time I think we will try something different. Â That means that Los Gatos Pizza passed the test and will be getting repeat business for us. Â Kudos to the fast delivery time and I look forward to trying something else off their menu.
Review Source:This used to be our favortie pizza for delivery. Â Apparently, they have changed cooks, oowners or something because all of our recent orders have been wrong even though they were read back to me correctly. Â Now they have taken off our fav pizza (shrimp lovers without canadian bacon). Â It had fresh jalapeno slices (not pickled) and was delicious.
We just tried again on Tuesday evening - Queens Gourmet and although I did add mushrooms and jalapenos which were on the pizza delivered, the fresh tomatoes that are a normal part of the pizza were missing. Â I had asked for extra packets of crushed red chili - they asked me how many and I said 4. It arrived with 2. Â I also ordered an order of buffalo wings (which only come with 12 now - before they also had a smaller size). Â It did have twelves pieces if you count the 1 inch piece of something that was also in the box - it was a broken chicken bone without the chicken. Â I talked to the delivery guy and he said he would tell them - I asked to get a phone call which I did not. Â All of the other times I called to complain - but since they did not call
me back that night I felt it was pointless the next day as the other times did not produce better results on future orders. Â (They did credit me for a free pizza on one of the occasions, but that is not the point - they have lost steady customers.) I can no longer recommend this place.
It's your average pizza place. They deliver to nearby by houses. The people are really friendly, it's family owned and operated. They have a few arcade games and a pool table. They have a big screen TV which usually plays sports or cartoons. Its a good place to bring kids. The seating area is pretty big and its never too crowded. The food is average, no better or no less than what you'd expect from a pizza parlor (Papa John's is my favorite pizza as a reference).
They also have a small salad bar for only $3.99.
