Given the restaurant situation of the deserted Greencastle (you can count the # of restaurants in town with fingers on one hand), this place is a pretty damn good option. The settings is nice, food is good, and not pricey at all.
Highly recommend if you want a quality dinner next time you visit G-town.
Typical Mexican restaurant with a few more bells and whistles on the menu.
Chips and salsa here are pretty standard, though always served warm.
Tamales are tasty, but I go for the El Gigante Burrito. Almost a full 2lbs od steak, chicken, and pork. Taste bud overload!
When you ask for something muy picante, they come through! Hot hot! Just how I like it!
The staff here is nice, quiet, and above average as far as Mexican establishments go.
Let's face it, you're in Indiana. You may be there for school. Maybe you live there. Maybe you're interested in small-town America. I don't know, and I don't judge. I was there because Cloverdale was off of I-70 and we needed a place to crash for the night. Looking for something other than highway eating stops, we drove up to Greencastle in search a more interesting restaurant. Hungry for mexican we gave it a shot.
Considering that Indiana is in no way Mexico, this place is pretty damn good. It's got authentic food, toned down a bit for American palates, but it's still about as good as you can get in most of America - if not better. Big portions and good prices, not a bad selection of Cervazas. Absolutely worth it.
