This was my first visit to Lucky's. Â I don't normally order pizza when I dine out but as soon as I saw the authentic brick pizza oven I knew pizza was the way to go!
I ordered the Margarita pizza and was thoroughly impressed! Â Hot, fresh and delicious! Â Topped with fresh basil - it doesn't get any better than that!
I will be back!
This review is for my dining experience only. Â All I can say is that the dining room was so very understaffed that the General Manager was acting as a server. Â It was great that the leader pitched in. Â But the short-staffing caused us to wait nearly two hours to complete our simple lunch. Â Our fries were severely overcooked, causing them to be nearly burned, very hard, and inedible. Â I was surprised that they actually served them. Â The cucumber in my salad seemed to have been accidentally frozen and thawed, judging from the edges of the cucumbers. Â The french onion soup was average. None of the three people in our party were impressed with the dining experience or the food. Â Also, when we entered the establishment, there really was no one to point newbies in the right direction. Â I saw a hostess stand, but no one was there, so we were just milling around until we could flag down someone to let them know we were there for lunch and not the arcade or bowling.
I am definitely going to return. Â I think the bowling and arcade would be fun. Â I'd also like to try dining again and hopefully that experience will be better and I can update my review.
We had a great time here. Â The food was decent, but the drinks were great! Â The arcade was smaller than I expected. Â I think they would do well to add more. I can't wait to go back and do the bowling. Â That looks like my kid of bowling. Â My son declared it was kid heaven; Â I thought to myself WITH A BAR!!! ;)
Review Source:This was a great bowling alley, arcade, etc. Â grand opening time it appears. Â This was more upscale than most bowling I've been to but it was great. Â Tv screens at the end of the alley. Â State of the art scoring screens. Â Wonderful alley food service. Â Nachos was a great deal and great tasting. Acceptable pricing for games. Appears o have a restaurant that goes with it that from the looks was a great on for it's setting.
Review Source:Walking into this place is so impressive. As soon as you enter you are greeted with a huge meeting waiting area, with a bar on the right. Immediately in front of you there is a huge bubble wall to separate the normal dining area from the entrance. The downstairs is mostly open all the time and the upstairs is for private parties and the nightlife. Includes a ticket prize counter, with full arcade and 6 lanes downstairs. Also 6 lanes upstairs as well. I assume when the downstairs gets full they use the upstairs as overflow. This place has only been open for a month. The food is amazing... try the mozzarella sticks... they aren't really sticks but homemade pieces of mozzarella breaded and fried crispy. Take some home for munchy food but make sure not to put them in the fridge if you are going to eat them in the next six hours... still taste good room temperature.
I had a chance to tour the upstairs with the hostess but of course my phone was dead and no charger in sight. The upstairs has a large sit down catering area followed by a big bar then beyond that is the 6 lanes of bowling. The place is tastefully decorated and modern. There is also a private room/ lounge to the left of the shoe counter on the lower level. Plenty of room to have multiple private parties going on at once.
This place is brand new and my review is the first... so I will leave the contact info for the event manager here as well. Her name is Boramey Hem and she can be reached at boramyh@luckysfl.com . (Maybe I will get some free mozzarella sticks for name dropping her. lol)
