This is a bad looking bar  from the inside and out. It has a small stage and I shudder to think what type of music they love hear. The bartender was rude and often looked past me even though the beer was obviously low. This is a place that deserves to be bulldozed off the map.

I hear a lot of racist remarks coming from someone who was denied service.  They might have prejudged you based on the time of night etc I dunno I wasn't there but when you write a review laden with racist remarks I start to wonder who's the racist?  Sounds like you like to pull that card anytime you don't get their way.  If you feel guilty because you're Hispanic that's your problem.  So I went and saw a band at this place.  Yes, it's a dive.  The sound is decent.  The crowd appears rough.  The doorman is black so... unless he's a racist he's probably pretty good at sensing when trouble is knocking.  I don't think they get paid enough there to deal trouble.  If they were mistaken, just move on.  Don't blame it on your race (or theirs) - that's the problem with race relations in this country.  You sound like a child.  Some people really just don't want any problems and don't care where you go after they tell you to go somewhere else.  Why the hell would you be so upset over being denied entry to such a "dump?"  Anyway, if you just wana hear some hard rock and deal with protective staff and not feel like you're at a high school prom then get yer grit on, pay the cover and enjoy the music.

As many of you all may already know, I have been to my fare share of hiljack infested bars. This one is the creme of the crop of all bars like that.

First of all, I despise racial profiling in OPEN TO THE PUBLIC bars.

So we were denied service because the rude bartender said " Listen, we only serve locals around here and I don't feel comfortable serving you guys, please leave" .

What the hell? We he serious? We were shocked because I sure as hell don't look like a gang banger. That hole in the wall bar should appreciate our business since there was nothing but drunk old white guys in there not spending anything close to what we were going to spend (somewhere along the lines of 200 bucks not including tip).

Good things about this business: its open til 4 and has karaoke on Thursdays. That's it

Bad things: If you are not a white hiljack local, you aren't welcome to drink there. Even though the doors are open to the public. The patrons in there are one step away from wearing their Klan pillow cases in that bar.

The place is filthy, sticky, dirty floors.

Cash only. C'mon you all saw this coming. They are too busy turning down good business so they cant pay for the transaction fees.

The bar isn't even a full bar and the beers come out of a single rolling cooler. WHAT A JOKE!

Its dark in there with a pinch of dim lighting. You know the kind of lighting that hides ugly mugs. Yeah, like that kind.

The nerve of that rude bartender! I should demand an apology, shouldn't I?

I hope the owner reads this and knows he is on 5 peoples shit lists. So after we were denied service because we werent white, we called our friends who were going to meet us up to just meet us at Lawlor's down the street because the bartender was racist.

Although from the looks of this place, it might be going out of business soon.
