Great neighborhood bar. Sit outside and take a load off.

Food is mediocre. Typical bar food, pizza is probably the best. Pretty good beer selection & they're brewing their own now!

The Jumbo wings are regular wings, nothing Jumbo about them!

Atmosphere is fun and great for watching sports or just hanging with friends. Food is good; love the fries. Drinks are good too. My only complaint is that it's not made clear to patrons upon entering that after a certain hour you have to be over 21. Our hostess said nothing and the bartender said nothing. We didn't know about this until after we decided to move to a table and a waitress told us. All of us left because 1 girl with us wasn't 21. Perhaps a sign at the door or check i.d. cards at the door. Hopefully this has been resolved by now. Other than that it's a really fun place to eat, watch a game, and have a good drink without going broke.

I got my "ole faithful" steak grinder, I'm always happy with that! I love going here. I didn't know it was locally owned and operated--but makes me feel even better. They have a pizza bar for lunch, but we missed it. FYI Pizza bar is from 11-1, but the waiter said it's best to get there around or before 12 for the bar.

A favorite spot in our part of town, Lynnwood is great for lunch, dinner or a relaxing night out with friends. The food is always delicious (may I recommend the calzones) and wait staff is friendly. The upstairs patio is a blast in the summer and everything is reasonably priced.

As far as food goes, I would rate Lynnwood a three or a four. We consistently enjoy our food there--especially the pickle chips. Nice beer selection too.
However, our service during our last visit was pretty frustrating. We received a pager to wait for a rooftop table and were told it would be a 30 minute wait. I said we would be at the bar downstairs. After an hour, I went to check on the table and saw that many people had been seated before us. The host said she had paged us, but that out pager must not have worked. While it would have been nice for them to send someone down to look for us, they did seat us right away, apologize, and bought us an appetizer, which was nice.
We left one of our cars in the GCF lot (there was no space in the restaurant's) to head downtown for a bit, and when we returned we realized we had left a debit card at the bar. When I walked in with a friend to retrieve it, someone stopped me and rudely and somewhat aggressively told me I couldn't enter with the water bottle I was carrying. I explained I was just headed to pick up my debit card and he still continued to rudely berate me for bringing in a water bottle.
When we went to pick up the car we had left, we realized it had been towed. This was no fault of Lynnwood Grill, but when we called the next day and spoke to the manager about the situation--explaining from the start that we knew it wasn't their fault and simply wanted to let them know so that they could consider putting up signage on the door to warn customers--the manager was rude and defensive--telling me there was signage in the lots and explaining the rationale of towing (blaming it on the customers that throw up in that lot. Again, understandable. But should you be serving customers that much to begin with?). I would understand his attitude had I been rude and accusatory, but I was not--simply trying to save him future complaints.
Wish we wouldn't have had this experience there, as we've really enjoyed it in the past but probably won't be going back now.

    Two words: Pickle Chips!
They are fantastic! I always order them. The rest of the menu is standard pub fare and not especially impressive.

First time at the Lynnwood Grill, under recommendation from a friend whom I trust.
But I was still leery. Sports Bars  sometimes focus on the Sports and the Bar and there is no "food" worth shouting about.

Lynnwood Grill makes a great stab at rectifying that oversight.

My friend and her hubby and I shared a few items.
    Five Cheese mac & cheese.
    Burger (medium well
    Fried Pickle Chips
    Chicken Fingers

The five cheese mac&cheese was a stumper.
Kept trying to guess the five. Each forkfull I thought I had the ingredients figured out. My friend kept sampling to guess---next thing you know, the shared plate of mac was gone.
We agreed blue cheese, figured maybe gouda and parmesan.

It was gone. and good. And news flash---NOT GREASY!

Presentation was nice. Sprinkled with maybe ligtly seasoned panko breadcrumbs (not sure about this--it was dark inside.

Burger was flavorful with a nice grilled crunch, inside it was more well done than medium well, but that is the way I prefer it.

I wasn't sure about the fried pickle slices but I think I would have fought over them, they were excellent.

And the chicken fingers? More like chicken breasts sliced in half. They were HUGE The batter was flavorfull, crunchy and tasted like REAL FOOD. Not overly seasoned. A+. The only complaint one might have (not me) is the chicken was a tad dry. But they would be PERFECT for dipping. Wonder if they order to go.

I was there in time for a drawing for Panthers Football jersey. It was free to enter. You wait until halftime and they announce the winning number on the tickets passed out.

    One final note.
Atmosphere is very chill. I love it that people rock the jerseys of their supporting teams, so you could see Steelers, Panthers, Rams, all in once place. There are multiple television screens so you can hear cheers go up in different corners of the pub. The vibe of the place was suitable for kids, adults and couples if you are both into sports.

Even if you are not a sports fan, and you've just finished a marathon shopping spree at nearby Target or Lowes, It's worth a try.

I've been coming here the past two years for wing night at least twice a month.  While I can't vouch for anything other than their wings and fries, trust me when I say their wings are phenomenal.  I'm pretty frugal, and to me they're even worth full price on days other than Mondays.  I can't count how many times I've eaten wings at other restaurants to only think (or say aloud) "Lynnwood Grill wings are WAY better than these".  They tend to be meaty, not full of fat, and have the perfect amount of sauce.  I'm a wimp when it comes to heat, and the mild flavor is perfect for me.

Service is always pretty attentive (minus maybe 3 times in over 50 visits) and the atmosphere inside feels inviting.  I'm not much of a drinker, but my husband and the friends we go with never seem too disappointed in the beer selection.  In short, give Lynnwood a shot and try the wings!

For the most part I like Lynnwood.  Banana pepper and pepperoni is epic. Good specials on Friday nights and crowded a lot.  Overall fun environment!

So I decided to give Lynwood Grill a try finally!!

I got my order to go, as I had to work that evening. I decided on trying the Italian sandwich, hot, with pasta salad as my side. The girl who took my order was great and my food was ready as soon as I walked in the door (only 15 mins).

So as for the sandwich, let me start off by saying that I was shocked that it was steamed instead of warmed under the broiler. This made the bread nice and soft, but part of me missed that toasty crunch of a hot sandwich. As for the toppings, the lettuce was lettuce, the tomatoes were good but they were skimpy on the amount of them considering how small the slices were, there was supposed to be onions and there were none, there was Italian dressing but it needed more as it was a little dry. The meat and cheese wasn't bad, a little salty compared to other places were I've had the same meats on a sandwich, and they could have put some more on considering the price for the plate ($6.99).

The pasta salad was okay, its an Italian dressing based salad. The veggies were diced small and it was a little dry.

Overall not bad but not great either. Maybe next time we will eat in and see how it is. The place was crazy busy, so something must be fabulous!!!

You've heard of crabcakes right? They have chicken SALAD cakes. There were ... eh. We ate them though! LOL. They have regular food made a little weird. Not good weird either. But OK, that's weird but I'd never try it again-weird. Mmmmhmm. They've got decent food and EXCELLENT service. Our waiter was funny and full of southern character. Gotta love the south.

It's a great lunch place but not a place to impress a hot date. Especially if they're from a big city out of town.

A group of us ended up at the Lynnwood Grill after a run club, and although they don't take reservations, they did allow me to call ahead and let them know a fairly large group was coming their way. Did that allow us to be seated faster? I'm not sure since we waited for a decent amount of time, but it did allow me to admire the gorgeous old church windows they have hanging in the front. Very cool ambiance for a sports bar.

Our servers ended up changing out in the middle of our meal and I'm not sure if this affected our food order, but we were well into our second round of drinks before the food came out. I got the buffalo chicken wrap with a side of dirty chip. The wrap was pretty standard, but the chips were awesome--dirty = garlic parmesan = mmmmgood.

Seeing as this is one of the only local pub-like options in the area, I get why its so popular, but I don't see myself running (so punny) back anytime soon.

GREAT pizza.  If you're reading this, owners of Lynnwood, PLEASE don't change a thing.  Crust exactly the way it should be, crispy and light.  The cheese is excellent and the sauce is perfect.

    Pretty awesome spot!

This is a new location for a well-known local spot. It is a HUGE building - two floors, first of which has an outdoor seating area that is dog friendly, and a large bar area along with many (MANY) tables! Upstairs you will find a few rules - no smoking, and no glass. They are smart about what they do, and they are good at it! The bar upstairs is usually packed on nice nights and the bartenders are GREAT!

The food was a little above bar standards - I have had the nachos (large portion, great for sharing) and a buffalo chicken wrap. Good eats! They also allow you to get a side of salad, and other healthier options if you choose. Well done!

I like this place for even a weeknight of drinking. Good food, good service, great bartenders and usually plenty of young professionals looking to have fun!

I was very happy with this place. The atmosphere was extremely casual, the service was possibly the friendliest I've ever had, and the food was great! I ordered the Greek Goddess pizza which was to die for! Loaded with cheese and artichoke hearts, SO GOOD. They also had great sweet tea and some fun drink specials like $1 mystery beer on Tuesdays.

Lynnwood Grill is so close to my apartment, I can't believe that it took me over a month to eat there!  I am always in Lynnwood for the Food Lion, Target, and the movie theater. I decided to finally try this restaurant when my family came to visit from Maryland this past weekend. It was a good choice for our group!

We were seated right away at 6pm on a Saturday night, which was impressive, no wait time. The atmosphere is like an Italian sports bar. Our server was very nice and took care of us very well. Our favorite items on the menu were the Greek Goddess pizza and the peanut butter pie.

I checked out the drink specials and saw that they offer $1 Mystery Beer on Tuesday nights and a weekly Corn Hole Tournament every Wednesday! I'm sure we will be back many times!

You know what this place is?  It's the place I'd be hanging out in if I lived near here. (just guessing they would know my name)

Not living near here, I can say it's a great place to stop in, have a Guinness and enjoy some munchies.  Four of us on a Sunday afternoon shared the fried mushrooms (well, two of us did, the other two don't do mushrooms...sorry, but I'm one of the mushroom wimps)...but I will say that if I DID like mushrooms, these looked really good and got great reviews...they were stuffed with cheese (pepper jack was the guess),  breaded and fried.  They were very much liked by the two mushroom-lovers in our party.

With mushroom-lovers happily content with with their decision, we could focus in on some WINGS (mushroom lovers don't do bones...I KNOW...SAD)  We decided to try the chipotle bbq ones, which were good...I liked that they weren't breaded, so you could taste the sauce better (I'm a saucy-lovin' gal)...that being said, the wings were well cooked and good, but next time I'd probably try something more adventurous. Could not detect any kind of heat at all which usually goes with chipotle, but it was a nice bbq flavor.

Shared tastes were happy to report that spinach/artichoke dip is very good...our fave was the bread with it, but you can get tortilla chips as well.

Service...friendly and fast.  No problems on water & tea refills.

Very happy with our experience.  I will say that having sorta kinda (okay I couldn't help but notice) food at other tables.  Let me just say that the calzones look AWESOME.  I have got to go back and try them!

The first time we were at Lynnwood, we were seated at the side patio next to a large party that had overstayed its welcome. One of the guests practically sat her bum on our table right in front of my husband. The highlight of that visit were the pickle chips, garlic knots and our server. Even though he had that large party to attend, he was as attentive to us which I really appreciated.

The second time we were at Lynnwood, we were seated at the side patio again. No cheeks on our plates this time, but we did have the chicken steak sandwich, buffalo chicken sammie and greek salad. All were good.

However, I don't know what it is but I don't get the warm fuzzies when I walk in here. I so want to love you, Lynnwood Grill.

I have been meaning to update my review on Lynwood Grill for a while. My first review was only average because I wasn't overly impressed by the place, but over time I have really come to love it here!

As I already stated Lynwood Grill is located right across the street from me, which is great because it is easy to walk it. I have been here several times for dinner, and have had great experiences, and the more I've sampled of the menu, the more I have come to enjoy their food.

It now seems that every time I have company in from out of town we walk over there one because it is close and two because it is great to sit up on the rooftop patio.  There is plenty of seating up there, a separate bar and full menu service.   The view isn't spectacular by any means you basically get to look at Target, but its nice being up there enjoying the weather. They also have an outdoor patio and a large seating area in the restaurant. The bar inside is conveniently located right in the middle of the action, and is surrounded by TV's. They have TV's on both outdoor patios as well, so there is never a way to miss the game. The staff are friendly and helpful, and I have met a few that are really funny on the rooftop.

Great things I can recommend here include their signature garlic knots, which are so delicious, the Meat Lover's Pizza, Buffalo Chicken Pizza, Grilled Chicken Calzone and the Hot Ham and Cheese Sandwich. You can not go wrong with any of these choices in my opinion.

I have always been seated quickly, I think I've only had to actually wait once, and it wasn't for very long. This place gets busy but it never gets too crazy.  It is your typical bar food, but with a few little surprises. They also have live music on occasions and sometimes host special events that draw in a crowd.  I have really grown to love the Lynwood Grill and would totally recommend checking it out sometime!

Lynwood grill is a great place to hang out. The garlic knots are one of my favorite things on the menu however I have not been disappointed in anything else I have had there.

The patio area downstairs is nice and on a Friday night we were seated quickly. It is dog friendly which is nice when on our way somewhere else with them.

The upstairs deck is a fun place to hang out. The breeze up there makes it nice to hang out at even on a warm day. The live music they sometimes have makes it more fun.

I have gone here for years and have always loved it.  I must say that since they moved to the new location I feel the quality of the food has really gone down hill.  There is no consistency.  The service is about the same but everyone seemed much friendlier at the old location.  Also, has lost the neighborhood pub crowd that always seemed to make it so much fun.

I continue to say I will give it one more try but I think I may have made my last visit.  No consistency is my biggest complaint.  Please fix this, I miss the old grill.

Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon was pleasantly surprised by Lynwood Grill.  This was my first trip there and we found a very welcoming restaurant.  Sadly the weather wasn't good enough for outdoor seating, which is a huge plus for this place as the rooftop patio looked amazing. Will definitely be back for that.

They offer a pretty good beer list featuring several local and NC breweries on tap.  The food was really good as well.  We started with an order of fried pickles and they were delicious. A small order for $2.99 was enough for 4 of us waiting for our full meals to arrive.  I had the chicken parmesan sandwich and it was delicious. Tons of melty, toasty cheese and the bun was great and toasted too.  On the side, the fries were delicious as well.

Everyone around the table seemed to enjoy their food, and my dad really enjoyed the chicken vegetable soup.  It was a win across the board.  The prices were very reasonable too, most sandwiches were in the $7 range.  Also offered lots of pizza and calzones, but nobody at our tables tried anything from the Italian side of the menu.

Oh, and plenty of TVs if you're there for football or hockey (or baseball or basketball too, I suppose).

This is a place I will definitely be visiting again.

I really dislike leaving a negative review, but this place leaves me no choice.

1-I have never had a "tough" hamburger in my life; until today.  Also overcooked.

2-  Weak iced tea; barely colored water.

    3-Very loud during lunch hour.

4-Service was not bad, not great.

This restaurant has only been open one week, but that is not a valid excuse for poor quality.

Met up with the girls at Lynnwood Grill last night.  I was their "soft opening" for the new building so they were only open for a couple of hours and they didn't have their ABC permits yet, but seeing as it was a work night that didn't really bother me.

As with any new restaurant opening, they had their glitches.  They weren't serving a lot of the menu items since they hadn't gotten a delivery of portobellos or the bread for the sandwiches, but that was ok.  We were probably one of the first 4 tables to be seated, but it took probably 30-40 minutes to get our appetizer (pickle chips - uber delicious with their tangy dill pickle-ness dipped in a creamy ranch dressing!), which arrived about 2 minutes before our pizzas.  We each had ordered 9" pizzas, but when they came out only one was 9", the rest were larger...but who am i to complain about leftovers?  I had the Greek Goddess pizza and it was AMAZING - and their pizza crust is really tasty...I could've probably just eaten that...so much for staying off carbs!

Our waiter was really great and I'm sorry I can't remember his name to recommend him - he was very appreciative that we were being so patient with the glitches and apologetic about the situation.  But honestly, we knew what we were getting into with it being the opening night and had plenty of time before our 8:00 movie.

All in all a great experience...the new restaurant (though I'd never seen the old) is really cozy and they brought over the famed church-esque window from the old location.  Definitely a great place to catch a game, stuff your face with delicious food, or have a few drinks with friends...and they have a rooftop bar now, which looked pretty awesome for when the weather isn't 9,000,000 degrees!

    As luck would have it:
    1) The movie my gal pals and I were going to see is in the same parking lot as LG
    2) LG's brand new space was having its soft opening that same night
    3) LG was surprise comp-ing all the food served!

So with a bit of a disclaimer, having gotten a surprise free meal + visiting on a night when they're not firing on all cylinders, here's my take...

The new venue is well laid out -- a bar with TVs, several tables downstairs, and the piece de resistance -- a rooftop patio with more seating and a second bar.

The menu mainly features pizzas and sandwiches. Unfortunately, as of the soft opening, they did not have an ABC permit, bread, or portabella. So our choices were a bit limited. I guess due to being new, too, they were very slow to bring the food out. Our simple appetizer took a long time to arrive, and was immediately followed by entrees -- two of which were prepared in the wrong size (a large instead of small, which is kind of hard to argue with! =)

I started with a large order of the pickle chips. Lightly breaded and sprinkled with dill, these were served with a side of ranch. I got the pesto chicken pizza pie, and it wasn't up to par. Very light on the pesto, topped with chicken that was so dry it sort of disintegrated as you chewed. The sundried tomatoes, however, were awesome -- sweet and tangy. I also enjoyed the crust which is moderately thick and buttery.

The four stars are more for the atmosphere and the awesome waiter (who even provided tips on reheating the pizza and pickle chips!) than the food itself. But I bet ya when they're fully into the swing of things, the food will return to the quality of the former venue -- which has earned their listing the strong Yelp rating it already has!

You know those times that you've had a really crap day at work and you are too tired to even think about cooking? Next time, instead of eating cereal or a box of frozen waffles for dinner, come here.

Its good, its fast, and there menu is large and varied enough to please even the pickiest eaters (aka me). Every now and again you will be unpleasantly surprised by a 45 minute wait, but just grab a tasty beer from the bar and hang out outside. My favorites are the "Thespian" pizza, the portabella wrap, and the pickle chips (duh). Husband assures me that the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich is the be all and end all of yum, and the Club is both giant and delicious.

Cons? Lynnwood is never as cheap as you think it is going to be.  But it is delicious, and at least you didn't have to cook it. Also their music can be REALLY loud sometimes. Like unpleasantly loud... and you can't hear your dining companions. Which is totally fine at 11pm, but at dinner time? Really?

But all that aside, you should definitely give it a try!

I've been here on a lot of occasions and while no time was bad or the service poor, they were all very different.

On a Saturday night date the wait was a little hefty, but I grew to appreciate it as they didn't hustle us out after we finished.  We could watch the game in peace and linger over our drinks.  Pizza was really great.

I actually came here on my 21st birthday - a Wednesday night, sort of the pre-celebration to the weekend of craziness that ensued - and jesus, was that place packed.  Not a clue why, but it was CRAZY.  However, they handled it with ease.  Bartenders were really great about a bunch of crazy drunk girls, taking our pictures when begged to, even turned the TV to a Celtics game at my pleading.  Gave me a free plate of mozzarella sticks (later, he said that he felt bad charging me since they weren't going to stay down long.  spoiler alert: he was right.)

One slightly disappointing thing - if you go on a busy night, they run out of liquor.  I was happily enjoying my 'Hooker Bomb' shots (cherry vodka with red bull) when they ran out of cherry vodka and I had to move on to other drinks.  I moved on to a blueberry something-or-other but they eventually ran out of that, too.  (I settled with beer from then on.)

But it's a great atmosphere, pretty standard fare, located in a really convenient spot, and hey.  It even has a jukebox.

Lynnwood Grill is a nice place to grab some quick grub & a drink for lunch or maybe after seeing a movie next door. The food was good and the service was friendly & attentive. My husband and I both ordered sandwiches and fries (the menu is pretty basic) and the food arrived quickly.

They were completely full inside so we had to sit outside, and I'm glad it was a nice enough day to do that or else we probably would have went elsewhere. The server tipped us off that Tuesdays & Wednesdays are their slowest nights and weekends & Mondays are the busiest (Mondays: 35 cent wings. Slammed!)

I have dropped by Lynnwood Grill a few times in the last few years, but most recent time was this past weekend.  And we know what time that makes it, right?  Yelp review time, that's right!

I have to say I think it is the standard type of bar and grill type of setup.  Even with the very large, one huge room kind of setup with the bar in the middle and the booths/tables all around, they are pressed for space on a crowded night (like weekends, when I visited)...I just don't like the pressed in feeling.  The crowd, very fun loving type of crowd I'd say, always there to have a good time and shake off the week.  Made for a good bar energy that whatever you were there for, you are going to have fun.

The food, well, it is your usual kind of bar and grill kinda eats, nothing bad but nothing wow either.  I have to say the cheesesteak I had was not bad.  They did forget to bring out the pepperoni roll that was ordered first but they were quick to remedy that once it was revealed.  On that note, I will say that service was very polite, friendly, attentive, and tried very hard in a very crowded and busy night, they get a thumbs up.

All in all, not bad, a place to hang out with a beer or drink and some good bar type food.

Great neighborhood bar and grill!  I've been there quite a few times over the past 4 or 5 years and not only has the service been super each time, but I've never had a bad meal.

Gripes: Aside from the range in Italian choices and the fried pickle chips it's not a really unique menu.  Limited parking so we often end up circling or parking in the movie theater lot next door.  Often times there's a wait which is good for them, but kind of aggravating if you even attempt to go there frequently.

I've been there with family, on dates, and with friends.  They've accommodated me showing up with 5 other friends and always been kind if there's a couple extras.  The servers are fun and friendly.  Convenient for having dinner before seeing a movie next door at the Raleigh Grand Theater.  The menu is nothing too major or unique, but it's got some good eats that's for sure.

    Things I've tried:
    pizza (pretty damn good)
    wings (wonderful!)
    fried pickle chips (very interesting!)
cheese fries (happy intro to a heart attack)
    calzone (cool!), and
chocolate cake (nothing too special but still delightful as chocolate cake can be).

Last Thursday I had my first calzone and it was a very exciting venture in all that giant crusty meaty cheesey cool creation that it was and certainly didn't hurt to bring some chocolate cake home for dessert.  Had a Happy Hour of sorts with friends and they had some great $2.50 Coors Lights and $5 Martini specials for the night.  A great way to wrap up the week and boost your brain to survive Friday.  I'm sure you'll have a lovely time at Lynnwood Grill.

At 4:30pm, there were about six patrons and six employees on the clock, but it still took more than six minutes to get anyone's attention.

Two whiskey sours, both totally different in flavor and garnish. Hmm.

It's a big space, so it's probably amenable for getting a big group together for cheap drinks and game-watching. That's the nicest thing I can think of to say.

We stumbled in here after a pre-game session at Lonerider, so needless to say most of my party was good and liquored up.  Brit and I being the first to arrive put our names on the list for a 10 top.  The response was "We can't give you a time frame."  As Brit was feeling little to no pain, we shrugged and made our way to the bar with my vibrating, flashing inch thick coaster/your table's ready pager in tow.  We ordered a round and when the rest of the party showed up made a bit of a spectacle of ourselves.  While looking around, it appeared that we were ignored and that made it even better that this raucous group could get away with the things that they were doing and not be gawked at.

We finally got our table about 45 minutes into our stay at the bar.  Closed our tabs and found our table.  Brit and I started off with house salads which were your regular run of the mill greens and veggies, not great but definitely not bad.  We then split the chicken pesto pizza-good crust, not as salty as I would've liked but the chicken was tender and the pesto had a good amount of garlic in it.  So obviously that worked for me.

The wait staff was attentive, and the food was good.  This is a great little neighborhood bar-good food, good people, good staff.

I have yet to hit up Lynnwood Grill since the smoking ban, but as Andrew W. pointed out, this prospect excites me.

The night that we moved to NC from NY, we dined here with family. I think that's why it holds a special place in our hearts. It's not uber-fancy or special--it's a sports bar--but it's friendly, fun, and the menu is varied and tasty.

I really enjoy the pizza (again, being from NY, that's sort of a thing with me). The subs are yummy, too, and I love the fried pickles! They've got some unique salads on the menu as well.

The waitstaff have always been very nice, service rather prompt, and that donut dessert thing is crazy. Plus, who doesn't giggle when they order the "Double Nut"?

A couple of downsides for me are the smoke (guess that's not an issue anymore), the noise level, (hard to have a conversation), and when it's cold outside, that darn draft.

It's a bar, and I don't like sports, but it's a fun place to be.

Every neighborhood needs a place like Lynnwood Grill!  A quick spot to grab a cold beer, some eats, a bit of ESPN and then it's time to head back home.  While most of the action is indoors at the bar, Lynnwood Grill also has a smallish patio around the building for some fresh air.  Unfortunately you'll pretty much be staring at an asphalt parking lot and Target but what the heck!

The menu is basic pizza, calzones, pastas, salads and wings.  Nothing too exciting but decent.  Marinara sauce was quite good, I'll have to try the pizza next time.  Service is ok, definitely reminds me of a place that's going to have its regulars.  The best thing about Lynnwood Grill is that it's right next to the Raleigh Grande theater which means it's perfect for a bite before or after a movie.  But after that, there's really not much to say.  It sort of reminds me of Ruckus Pizza out in the burbs.  Which is not necessarily a bad thing if that's what makes you happy, cheers!

Lynnwood Grill is a lot better now that smoking is banned in NC! It's basically one large room inside with a bar in the center. There are HDTVs everywhere. There's also outdoor seating, which overlooks the movie theater parking lot. It's probably the top sports bar in the north Glenwood Ave. area.

The only problem is that this place is always packed (especially on Friday/Saturday nights) and there isn't enough seating for everyone. So, if I'm craving pizza or bar food I'll often skip out and go to Assaggio's, Ben's Place or Blinco's instead. This place is good, but an hour wait just isn't worth it. They do have a large menu though--pretty amazing for such a small place.

Make sure to get some wings since they're actually priced reasonable here (6 for $5, 12 for $9 or $0.35/each on Monday). I like the Jerk wings, but I have yet to explore Jalapeño and Habanero.

A bonus is that you can eat here and then catch a movie right next door... but please don't keep your car in the Lynwood Grill parking lot!

Great pizza spot.  I'm partial to NY style pizza and this place is right up my alley.  My wife and I have stopped here quite a few times on our way back from Raleigh and they make a great pie.  Since my wife doesn't eat the flesh we usually each get our own 14"...hers with either banana peppers or black olives and mine with the proverbial kitchen sink.  Crust is good....a little chewy and a little crispy as it should be.  Loads of toppings too.  The 14" is a good size for each of us because we usually eat half there and take the other half home to warm up another day.

My wife and I have also hit the place a few times on our way back from the Park with our dogs because they have plentiful outdoor seating and for those of us with well behaved dogs who will sit under the table and act appropriately it's cool to be able to grab a bite to eat with our fuzzy friends in tow.

This is my main pizza place in north Raleigh.....good stuff.

Came back, tried the pizza, it was ok.

Ordered the black bean dip again seeing as it was the only mildly enjoyable dish from the first go, and somehow it was COMPLETELY different.

I think I've had enough Lynnwood Grill.
