It's a bit college bar meeting small town bar. They had a nice combo of music yet you were still able to hold a conversation. The drinks were good. I tried the harry buffalo and it was pretty good. I could tell right away though that a normal drinker shouldn't have more than one in one sitting. Prices were a bit high I thought. Additionally they wouldn't run a CC unless you had a $10 tab.
Review Source:Dece atmosphere.. pretty crowded on a Saturday night. A little put off by the taco bar, at a bar, not being refreshened too often. You're basically asking for E. Coli. However, had I been here after a beer or six, I'd have been all over that taco bar. Ordered three hairy buffalo's thinking they were shots. They indeed are not. They are a thousand diff (rail) liquors in a cup, spiked with grenadine. However, they're still delicious and get you where you need to go if you're looking to not remember the majority of your evening.
Review Source:While a nice bar at night during the day they serve some of the best food for lunch/supper and most interesting daily and weekly specials
Several months ago they revamped their menu and staff the quality and options of food have skyrocketed it quickly became one of my favorite lunch places.
The hairy buffalo is one of the coolest drink names ever. Â Its a good place to go because people go there. Â They have darts if that's your bag. Â Although I wasn't the ambience and value isn't super awesome so bring some good people and all will be good.
They had all you could eat tacos at one time... is that still on?
This is one of my favorite downtown bars. Its not dark and dirty like a lot of the other ones. Its always clean and very fun for watching sporting events. The Hairy Buffalos are spendy but delicious. Best part is they have free food bars on a lot of different nights. We've come here for many Vikings games and had a great time. ;)
Review Source:This is a GREAT bar. A jukebox in the corner, friendly staff, and a fantastic atmosphere. It isn't a college bar and it isn't an old man's bar: it is unto itself.
I've spent many Thursday nights drinking cheap pitchers with my friends and partners in crime, and the memories are golden. The music is loud enough to keep your mind from walking on sensitive ground and quiet enough to keep your brain in the conversation.
Go there, tip well, and order a Hairy Buffalo.
