We ordered a pizza for carryout and were handed the box with the order ticket on top, confirming our order. When we got the pizza home and dug in, it was the wrong thing. Not even by a little bit - we had ordered a half cheese pizza and gotten a meat lover's. When we called back to get this straightened out, the manager informed us that we had to bring the bad pizza back and that all we would get is a discount off of a future pizza. There was no effort get us the pizza that we ordered and paid for, no apology made for their mistake, and no attempt to make the situation right. Since this is a deep-dish Chicago-style pizza, there would not have been a way to check the toppings before we left the store, and in a decent pizza establishment, we shouldn't have to - especially if the ticket taped to the top of the box had the correct order written on it. Instead, they wanted us to drive back through the rain to give them a manhandled pizza (that they would then throw away) and pay for yet another pizza at a discount in hopes that they can put the right toppings on it this time. Why would we have to buy two pizzas (and get only one) when the mistake wasn't ours? Why should we have to pay for their screw-up? We ended up having to purchase a different dinner for our friend who is allergic to pork products and couldn't eat the meat lover's pizza (which is why we ordered half cheese to start with). Terrible customer service, which is too bad, because their food was good. We certainly will never order from this establishment again.
Review Source:I am a sucker for their stuffed bread sticks!
In a full order you get 4 huge breadsticks that have been stuffed with cheese a pepperoni. Not 100% sure but I think you can switch out what you want it stuffed with.....not sure though. Â
I'm normally a New York style pizza eater...you know, thin crispy crust with just the right blends of cheeses and spices BUT Magnifico's has got a Chicago style deep dish pizza that is GREAT!!! I highly recommend you try the deep dish!!!
Their are no tables to eat at inside so I suggest you be prepared to pick it up and either take it across the street to the Biltmore Tap Room bar, home, or even your car lol. They do have delivery though!!!
