Pizza-Arni's

Really good pizza. Be forewarned, this place does NOT deliver.

My husband and I visited recently - he is a fan of Arni's since he used to live in Lafayette.  We were seated in an awesome dining room that was decorated with retro children's toys and other stuff.  We ordered a lot as it was a vacation and we'd be taking leftovers with us for our drive home.  We had delicious cheesy garlic bread, stuffed mushrooms, I had a salad, and my husband had a small pizza.  Everything was great, and my husband was pleasantly surprised with the mushrooms as he thought he wouldn't like them because he's not a big fan of large mushrooms.

Our server did a great job, especially at keeping our drinks filled.  

Now, I think our experience could have been a lot different if we had sat at the older main dining room - the one we sat at once before when we visited town.  That dining room was ugly and cramped.  I couldn't quite tell if it was still that way or not, but if it is, it's like there's two different restaurants using the same building which just so happen to serve the same menu.

This is a "must" whenever we are in Lafayette! Great pizza, great service! I think they put heroin in the pizza- I turn into a junkie the moment I taste the first bite!
