HotBox Pizza

Great pizza, great prices, great location. The dining room is a little drab, but it works. When I'm alone I will generally order a slice or a whole pizza when I'm with a couple of friends. Never got too exotic with topings, but their basics are very good, one of the only places in West Lafayette I'll eat Pizza. Breadsticks are a bit salty for my taste.

Wasn't too impressed with HotBox. Their pizza is pretty standard, nothing super special. Their breadsticks are good but just a bit too salty. If I ever get HotBox, it is to get those awesome plastic cups.

So, Hot Box called us when they saw on their records that our pizza was quite late.  Apparently they've got the veggies under control, but we learned that the tootsie rolls are a signature of theirs.  Really?  Still odd.  Pizza was better the second time, and delivered much more quickly.  Other thought - what's with the slogans on the side of the box?  My 15 year old thought "Taste what's in my box" was hysterical but couldn't find words to explain to the 9 year old why it was funny.  About 20 years ago I might have thought that was hysterical, too, but now, it's just one more thing I have to "deal with."
