Crazy good brewery from our own Lafayette, IN. The story I've heard is that the owner used to work for the BrewCo and decided he could do better. Whether it's true or not I'm definitely glad people's exists.
Their beer is starting to get more and more popular in the area and is now sold in many of the bars (yay! Go people's!) we've even taken some back home to Maryland because it's really worth sharing.
The brewery is on North 9th and really easy to miss. Very unpretentious and small bar area inside of the brewery. Sometimes they have live music going on.
As with BrewCO you may buy a growler and refill for a cheaper price. I definitely recommend the pilsner and farmer's daughter (wheat) which are my favorite but I don't go for very hoppy beers.
As far as I know they still don't serve food (just pretzels) but I think that's supposed to change soon so we'll see (although I'm pretty sure I've seen the emergency food truck out there too).
This is a small microbrewery with several great IPA options. Â They have some other varieties, including a brown, a wheat, esb, etc. but unfortunately those were less flavorful so the IPA's are the way to go. Â They also do growlers. They don't serve food but they the Emergency Munch Track (EMT) just outside where you could buy food to take in, including some delicious appetizers like mac n cheese bites.
