Shaukin Indian Fast Food

Could turn me vegetarian. Really. Regret not giving this place a chance earlier based on its appearance and the "fast food" on the sign. (it is not!) Better than Khana Kazana though less choices are available.

Awesome food. Everything I tasted I either liked or loved. Especially the special, Mutter (pea) Paneer (cottage cheese like thing). They use fresh peas which are a lot more expensive than frozen and you can definitely taste the difference. Anyone who dislikes peas has never had fresh ones (give peas a chance). OH they BURST in your mouth with sweetness!
And they are not stingy with the stuff either, lots and LOTS of peas. I was so mad when my boyfriend ate my leftovers (we ordered for 3 people to try as much food as possible)
#19 Paneer Curry was good too, not as spicy and pea-y but good.
Their garlic naan is sooo fresh. They use actual pieces of garlic and none of that flavoring rubbish. OOhhh so soft and chewy....

Excellent service. I was not sure what to get as my bf's friend was the one that recommended this place to us. The manager was extremely happy with helping us order food and making recommendations. He even gave us a free full size sample (6-8oz container) of garbanzo curry thingy as it was our first time and seemed to have fun watching us enjoy his culture's food so much.
He takes GREAT PRIDE in his food, I can tell by the quality of the food and the way he talked about it. I will definitely be coming back for more. This time I will save room for dessert.

2nd best to my mom's food!

Food is decent, but very overpriced. When you compare the price to food quality its not worth it.
