9 Brothers seems popular with the college crowd here, and rightly so. It is an Irish Pub themed restaurant, complete with Guinness and Jameson decor and waitstaff in plaid kilts. This was my first visit. We ended up here at about 10:00 in the evening, just as an Irish band brought in from Indianapolis was warming up. The band was pretty good and the volume was just right - loud enough to be heard, but not loud enough that we had to yell to converse.
I had the Molly Malloy - sliced turkey and swiss cheese with cole slaw on toasted bread. It was very good. The cole slaw was a little sweet for me, but that is just a personal thing. The slaw had nice crispiness and didn't make the toast soggy. It all had a nice flavor and was accompanied by nice, hot chips, fresh from the fryer. My wife had the fish and chips and she was also impressed. All in all, it is certainly a place I'd come back to.
