First off, let's get one thing out of the way. Â This is basically a bigger and more modern Chuck E Cheese with a little bone thrown for teenagers and a bar thrown in so the parents don't go crazy. Â If you're an adult going on a date or looking for a serious place to bowl in, stop it. Â You will hate it.
I was there for a 7 year old's birthday party and the first thing I noticed was that the place was in pure chaos. Â There is an office on the side where I guess a person resembling a manager might sit at but there is absolutely no control. Â You have kids running around with bowling balls or otherwise running into adults, you have people sitting and waiting, and the entire place is run by High Schoolers who look either spooked, indifferent, or lost. Â
In our case, we were promptly told that the person who was supposed to be in charge of our group had basically had a nervous breakdown and quit (they used other words but that was the gist of it) Â The new person was actually trying to be helpful and doing her best, but the people above her were not passing down any info to her regarding our table, etc. Â
The bowling itself was not bad...it was only for kids as part of a birthday package of some sort, but the stuff is new and high-tech where bumpers just pop up and go down according to whose turn it is (ie. for little kids bumpers come up). Â
Then came the waiting...after a half hour, we were informed that we did indeed have two tables reserved and then there was more waiting. Â A manager was brought in, gave extra game cards, and pizza arrived 10 minutes later. Â I will have to give them credit that the pizza was damn good. Â Like Star Pizza quality good...better than Pizza Hut and nothing like Chuck E Cheese or other places. Â That was their saving grace and why they get an extra star.
So if you accept these people for who they are - Ultra Suburban place for kids and teenagers with an attempt at making adults not go crazy, it might work for you.  I think their heart is in the right place, but the execution is just terrible.  Maybe they need to hire more  staff, train the staff better, or get better managers.  I don't know.  Perhaps they are overwhelmed.  In time, they'll be alright.
I been here about 10 times now, usually on a Friday morning or Wednesday night. Â I go for the bowling and the bowling only and the only reason I have been going here is for the all you can bowl $10 wristband deal, which gets you more then bowling but I am just not interested in the other items. Â From a bowling point of view the lanes are nice the equipment is nice (I have my own ball but their stuff isn't beat up yet). Â The lanes only get conditioned/oiled at midnight which is not good if you take your bowling seriously. Â Understanding this place is for the average person to bowl on I can live with the lane conditioning situation. Â Less oil means more average Joe's can bowl there and actually hit pins. Â The lights are very distracting. Â Black lights and colored lights on the lanes and pins that change colors even during the day. Â IMO a bowler should be bowling with the regular lights on.
Here are the things I can not live with. Â The front counter staff like others have said are inexperienced, SLOW, none helpful and mostly young. Â In all the times I have been there bowling for 2-3 hours and being maybe 1 or 6 lanes in use I have had the waitress come up to me maybe one or two times. Â All the other times I was passed over clearly seeing them serving other lanes. Â I will also add that I have bowled in there for hours at a time and had the lane next to me sitting with dirty dishes. Â Considering all the staff standing around I find this unacceptable. Â I have heard the leagues are having trouble getting started.
The last thing I have seen a few times is the bowlers approach to the line is often dirty. Â Seeing as I have arrived at opening time (so I can use any of the conditioning from the 12pm oil laying, if it hasn't already evaporation) I would expect that all this area would had been swept and mopped. Â Instead I find pizza sauce and other types of food all over the place. Â This stuff sticks to your shoes and messes up your game. Â No excuse for dirty areas at opening time IMO.
All that said if you want to take your family there you will have a good time. Â The pizza is actually really good.
My advice to the staff/company - Reserve some lanes for bowlers who have their own gear. Â Oil these lanes 2-3 times a day, turn the lights on for them, keep the area clean, train your staff to be helpful and quick.
This place is new. Maybe the staff just isn't into the game yet, but staring at an autistic child like they have snakes coming out of their neck is unacceptable. Greeting staff was anything but welcoming. Payed for an hour of bowling, and was not even told about the wristband system. Had to hear about it from another not so helpful employee. I will say that on the ropes course the attendant went out to be with the kids if they needed help. Our waitress Dawn was awesome, attentive and helpful. She said we were not the only ones to day the staff was less than up to par. If not, then why hasn't something being done?? This place has potential.
Review Source:This place seems as if it is a good place for families that want to stay out with their kids late night and a drop off for teenagers.  The establishment is full of kids (with no money) just running back and forth "hanging out" like a bunch of mall rats. Matter of fact I was playing an arcade game and their was two teenagers hanging on the back of my seat waiting for me to finish. Kinda awkward.  All this is as expected because of the activities offered (bowling and arcade games etc).  On the good side, it is very nice inside  and the bowling lanes are cool. The prices are standard for what they offer. So give it a try but you just wont be blown away.
Review Source:Been here twice since it has open. Being from California, this was a super nice bowling place/arcade/bar/pool/lazer tag/gravity ropes. Love the happy hour, $4 apps(apps were pretty good) and $3 glass of wine. The place is ran by mostly it seems like teenagers, that are lacking in customer service skills. My kids love it here though.
Review Source:We had a company event there last Sunday. The staff was very helpful and accomidating. Mike, a event coordinator, Â came up to introduce himself and introduce me to Ryan, who would be taking care of our group. Ryan was awesome, available and willing to make sure we had all that we needed. The whole experience was great and well worth the price. We will be back!
Review Source:Took the wife here about a week ago on a Sunday. Â I had been to the Main Event in the Woodlands, and this one seemed to be as nice if not better than I remembered. Â We were able to bowl without having to wait for a a lane. Â There were a few observations I think they could work on....when we checked in we were told what lane to go to. Â The girl that checked us in wasn't the most pleasant outgoing person..I would think you would want your best person at the desk. Â Also when we finished trying to return the shoes was a bit of a hassle because we were trying to turn them in to the same girl that was checking people in. Â Kinda confusing. Â The only other issue we had was when we got to the lane, there wasn't anyone going around taking drink orders etc....after I went to the bar to get some, the person finally came around after we had been there for about 15 min.
Review Source:This place has terrible service. They are understaffed and only have teenagers working here who have no sense of customer service. Their leagues, if you can call it that, are a complete joke. They cannot even set the lanes for league style bowling. Save your energy and go somewhere else. Hopefully they can get their act together before they run everyone off.
Review Source:I had an old school hang out with an old classmate here and I didn't know what to expect. It's actually a nice set up in this place, although arguably over-priced compared to anywhere I've been. I would say its great for ages 5-18ish and at night the adults would appreciate it more.
We bought wristbands for unlimited laser tag and bowling since bowling was $19 an hour with $3.50 shoe rentals and laser tag was $8 an hour (unsure on this one). The wristbands came out to $35 for two of them. There is a full bar in this place with TVs and tables and at least 10 pool tables!!! Pool prices vary on day of the week but I believe it was $8/hr & $14/hr for weekend and weekday, respectively. I'm used to paying $8 for all night pool play but I guess it's the atmosphere of the place that you're paying for.
Laser tag was great fun and those little kids really kicked my butt man! I thought I'd do great but there was always that tiny human hiding on the stairs that would get me over and over. They have an arcade at the back with some pretty high tech games, some iPhone arcade games, and some air hockey tables as well as a ropes course thing.. They do serve food, beer, cocktails , etc... So the parents can 'play' while the kids play. The children were having loads of fun so if your child is between 5-14ish I'd think to look here for a birthday party event. I saw a lot of teenage couples here at night, so guys, it's safe to bring your dates here.
