I have no idea why I love this bar but I do, and so does everyone there. Yes, it is attached to a gas station, yes it is in the sticks, yes this is the place to be if you are a 25-35 in columbus on a Saturday night. The drinks are mind bogglingly cheap, the bar tenders are fast and friendly, and the music jumps through every genre, appealing to everybody.
The only thing holding Maple bar back is it's limited size and the patio needs some work.
This place is quiet a collection. Â First, it is in the middle of nowhere. Â Second, it seems like they gave up on construction inside abruptly. Thirdly, the mix of people is grab bag; old people, locals, young kids, joes. Â And you never know who will be there. Â The food is slightly heated frozen crap, which is to be expected. Â Drinks are questionably cheap, they also serve bottled keystone light, which many patrons seemed to favor.
