Very impressed for a first time owner. Trying to open a bar in Danvers is next to impossible because of liquor license issues, but they made it happen. Â Gone twice so far, both times were after 8pm. First was for beers and second for the fried clams. The beer selection and service is my main reason for rating high, as the fried clams didn't knock my socks off. But, I can't complain at all since the location is hard to beat. Great for dates or groups of friends.
Review Source:Surprisingly good, had the grilled salmon blt, without the bacon. Salmon was cooked beautifully, crunchy outer crust & juicy throughout. Bun was slightly dry, but not enough to ruin sandwich. Fries & coleslaw were the sides, found those to be average. What happened to to good old fashion french fries, no coating, simple yet delicious. Waitstaff-owner was good, lacking slightly in attention, but overall did a decent job. Pricing is very reasonable, portion size excellent. One of the better bar meals I've had. Would I go back...definately.
