Marrone Delicatessen

Marrone's Deli has a menu of cold and hot sandwiches, pizza and some dinner entrees.  I ordered a Sicilian Pizza and a Chicken Cheesesteak on my first visit.

Clearly, I had both a hit, and unfortunately, a miss.

The chicken cheesesteak was very good, and all ingredients were good.  Better bread than most places in the area.

The pizza unfortunately, was well undercooked.  Clearly, it got put in the box before it was ready.  The tomato sauce also didn't quite taste like pizza sauce to me as much as an "all purpose" sauce for pasta as well.

The service was very friendly and prompt, and the place is spotless.  I certainly will return to try again on a cold sandwich.  Maybe another shot on a traditional pizza as well.

One final gem...these folks carry Franks' Sausage from Chatham, PA.  Nice traditional local stuff that I've never seen retail anywhere before.
