Had a blast at this place! Doesn't look too impressive from the outside, but it's definitely worth checking out. The atmosphere inside was great! Super friendly bartender and fun karoke on Sunday nights!

It's been a while since I was here and met a friend here on a Sunday night.  Figured it would be rather tame and we could sit and talk.  At first it was quiet. Just a few couples enjoying their martini's.  The bartender was friendly and made a few decent recommendations.  I have to agree with a former poster that the drinks are on the weak side but pretty flavorful.

Nice atmosphere and decent music. But then, when the "2nd shift" crowd rolled in, there went the neighborhood!  Loud, drunken young kids yelling and demanding they bartender put on "party music".  Jesus H. Popcyles, it was Sunday! Give it a rest.  Then the DJ rolled in around 9pm. That was our que to get out of dodge.

Definitely a drinking place only.  They do serve frozen pizzas, cooked, of course but if you're expecting a decent meal, better fill your belly before you come here.

One bathroom per gender so if this place gets packed, plan ahead.

They also don't follow the smoking code of 15 ft away from the front door so when someone walks in, the place fills up with smoke.

I would like to rate this a 3 or better but since I walked out smelling like an ashtray, a weak drink & obnoxious patrons who obviously run the music selection, I'll give this a 2.

Stopped in here after a wedding. It doesn't look like much from the outside. Quite frankly, it doesn't look like much from the inside. I am always hesitant to enter a strip mall bar. They are usually cheesy. But then again, it seemed to be the better option as opposed to the bar on the other side of 159th Street.

Obviously they have martinis on the menu. In fact, they boast a selection of 75 plus versions. They also have standard spirits and beers. With such a huge selection, I nearly passed on the $10 drink and got a beer. But then again, when in Rome do as the Romans. So I ordered a "Sean Connery" but they couldn't make it because one of the ingredients was not in stock. Nevertheless, I found something else to order. Six martinis later and I was rocked. The waitress was cute and friendly.

This is a dark bar with loud music and an unusual crowd. They had a DJ who seemed to be right out of Warsaw but given the Greek ownership I'm guessing Athens. There are flat screens throughout which broadcast videos synched with the music. Sometimes people would get up and dance. I saw young guys, old guys, lesbians, Gothic girls, business types, etc. Results? I had a great time.

Give this place a chance. I think you'll have a good time.

I had a wonderful time at Martini Blu the staff and service was great.  The music was awesome such a variety and I had a wonderful time.  My friends and I plan to come
back very soon.  I'm glad I didn't have to go downtown to have a good time.  Thanks
to the owner and the staff for making your guest feel special.

Martini Blue has changed a lot over the last year. They purchased the space next door to them and expanded. So the bar is noticeably larger. I'm happy for them because at first this place was dead on Saturdays but now it's packed, they have a DJ, and folks LOVE to dance.

Because of this, my boyfriend and I no longer go here on Saturdays. We loved the quiet ambiance of the place but we also realized that they need this to thrive. So have we given this place up all together? NO NO NO!

We now go on Mondays. It's a nice and quiet atmosphere on Mondays and all of their Martini's are $5.00 (yes you read that correctly). Their selection of Martini's is great. They have a full menu of about 100 different choices. Him and I explore and try new ones but the Las Vegas has become my favorite with the Kavrotini running a close second. My boyfriend is addicted to their French Martinis.

They only serve Frozen Pizza (which is $5f on Mondays too) and chips and salsa and that works just fine for him and I because our focus is on the drinks, the pizza really isn't that bad either.

We're regulars at this place. The crowd whenever we go are people in their mid twenties to late thirties.

It's a martini bar, so if you'd like to have a girl's martini night out, this would be an ok spot.
The seating isn't comfortable, and the prices are on the higher side than of any other bar.  Not as expensive as the city, but high enough to where I now go elsewhere if I want a girl's night out.
But, if you like the dim lighting, and ritzy dressed up place, this isn't so bad.

I went here for the first time with a few girlfriends to celebrate my birthday.  The martini list is great.  I had a Creme Brulee, a Dreamscile, and a Horny Toad.  They were also delicious, well made, and well priced.

The crowd is definitely older -- we are in our early 30s and were by far the youngest in there, besides the waitresses.   Some sleazy guys, but we are all married.

I would go here again. The service and drinks were very good.  And we got there around ten on a Saturday and got a table right away, and were also able to hear each other.

One downside -- the bathrooms are one person at a time.

Martini Bar, in a strip mall (sooo Mid West), in between a dance school and a barber shop. And I like it!

Nice place, clean, not too expensive (but expensive enough to keep the rif raf out), great atmosphere.

I've been here maybe a dozen times over the past few years. They recently expanded it, they took over the space next to it. So its not exactly "Small" anymore.

I seem to end up here after events, weddings, birthday parties, wakes, etc.

I don't want to call this place "Classy", but for a Martini Bar in a strip mall its more upscale. But jeans are OK. The age of the crowd varies, most people would find this place comfortable.

Was taken here by a date, and without someone telling me about this place I doubt I would have realized that it was there. It's a tiny slot in a strip mall.

We walk in on a saturday night and it has the appearance of a hole in the wall bar. Small, dark, and music way to loud for the size of the place.

We sit down on a couch and look over the menu. Most of the drinks are 7-10. Not too bad. Our waitress was attentive and knowledgeable. The martini's were good, but not very strong.

I'm not sure if I would go back to this place. It was just okay.

Friday night at 9:30 and the first thing that hit me was the smell of bleach. O.K I wasn't hungry anyway. Then I look around and I see the owner, two of his friends in the corner and the bartender. Why did I suggest this place? The tini's were very weak and the only vodka choice is UV. You have to force them to make you a drink that comes a 1/4 of the way to the top. The washroom has a toilet and a pisser, but no lock on the door. If your into that sort of thing? And all the employees stand in front of the door smoking. I have no idea why they made this place bigger? Better choices everywhere!

Some friends invited me out and I have not been here in a while. They recently expanded doubling the size. The place was full and the martini's are still good and the price is right. Also had live music but the sound was bad could not hear very well. The down side by expanding they lost some of the atmosphere. Still not a bad place worth stopping in.

I  came to this place on New Years Eve 2009, and i had a good time. The patrons were very friendly, except for a few evil eyes staring from across the bar....hmmmmm... Its a tiny little place located in a tiny strip mall with a small parking lot.  I had a strawberry daiquiris and it was made well....  I would visit here again.

Food and drinks are excellent. The service is like no other.  Great place to have one drink or have many and stay all night. Highly recommended.

I've never eaten the food here, but I heard they no longer serve food on Sundays---so all they have is chips & salsa and frozen pizza when the cafe is not in session.  I have however, enjoyed karaoke here.  The address is actually in Orland Hills, but when I searched for it, it came up Orland Park, but on Yelp it shows as Tinley Park also......but I'm gonna go with Orland Hills since that's what it says in their bathroom.  LOL

This is a small, cozy place, and nicely decorated in my opinion.  The dress is casual, but it's a "nice casual".  People here are a tad more "spiffy" than at your typical corner bar, in reference to dress code.  The atmosphere is nice, and there are usually a good amount of people there.

I love the decor, and the small candlelights on each table.  I also love how they have a few couches and comfy chairs along with tables with bar stools.  I don't drink martinis, but I hear they're pretty good.

I met one of the owners, and he seems very friendly and customer-oriented.  I think there's a 2nd owner, but I'm not sure.........
The waitresses / bartenders offer good service as well.

The karaoke is done twice a week by Guido of Guido-oke.    :0P
He has a great ear for sound, and a great song selection.  If it's not in his book, he still most likely has it.   I love the way he has set up the vocals, and he has wireless mics!  His sound system is one of the best around---he knows how to work with what he has.  All of his music is stored "PC style".  He knows a lot of music, so if you wanna do a duet, it's most likely he will do it with you.

Very nice martini bar. Nicely decorated, staff is always very polite. The martinis are very good, they have so many to choose from! I have to say my 2 favorites are the Alabama and the Grapevine. The bar has a great city feel to it, for being in Orland Hills. Only tried the food once, and it was very good.
Prices for the martinis are reasonable too, you do get your money's worth.

I love the atmosphere. So many martini's to select from.  The place is very small but it adds to the atmosphere.

While it is not the lushest of lounges, Martini Blue still serves up a great cocktail. Tucked away in a small stripmall is this tiny, new drink destination. The cocktail menu provides approx. 60 fabulous concoctions of the shaken, stirred and frozen array to please anyone's palate. While a majority of the decor sets a good atmosphere, it could use some more plush furniture to aide in its allure & comfort factor. The service is pretty good and the prices are great (only around 7-8 per drink). I will definitely stop in again next time I am in the area and hope that there is some jazz or blues crooning in the background. Note: karaoke should never been seen or heard in a martini bar...even on a Sunday night!
