Went here to catch a baseball game and drink a beer. Â It looked inviting from the outside like it may be a decent place. Â When you walk in the first thing you notice is the floor. Â It looks like they never clean it! Â The bar smelled like body odor. Â I am not sure if possibly a big person was sitting at my seat before and leaning on the bar with his armpits hanging out, but they should wipe the bar down at least! Â The bathroom was also disgusting. Â This place is a cesspool.
Review Source:This place is slammed on Thursday for Karaoke. Â It is the place to be in Keego. Â They have chair along the bar and many small tables between the bar and bathrooms. Â They have an internet jukebox and a a few tvs to catch the game. Â The owner is usually present which shows she cares. Â They also host euchre nights. Â Very good selection of booze and brews. Â Rotating specials including pudding and jello shots. Â There is a fryer and flattop grill behind the bar which serves fries, burgers, corned beef. Â It seems they are always looking for help cooking...so if you are looking check here. Â The bartenders tend to stick around here, which is a good sign and they make it a point to know what you like. Â This is a place with a lot of regulars. Â Parking is very tight. Â It is usually best to park in the shopping plaza across the street. Â My only beef is when they first opened I went here for St. Pats and they charged 5 bucks for a small guiness out of a cooler....but I'm over it. Â Bonus they have mints ion the bathroom to freshen up with. Â Nice touch.
Review Source:Lucky us, having a quaint Irish Pub within a two-block walk of the house. My wife enjoys the burgers and personally I think their coney's will rival any in Detroit. I really like their signature Frips instead of fries. They usually have special prices on select beers (tonight it was $1.50). If you time it right you can even sit and watch the sunset over Dollar and Cass lakes.
