Lots of fun, amazing DJ & good people stop on in and have a drink!

I arrived at the Maverick around 10:30pm on a Saturday night and heard country music. I was unimpressed until I went inside and saw a good number of people line dancing and having a good time. Around 11 or so is when hip-hop started and the DJ wasn't that great but it was the people I went with made the Maverick a good time. :)  the atmosphere is fun, but there are some creepy men that hang out in there. I guess that's what happens at a dive bar.

i like this place. they have really good chicken tenders when they open up the hay loft grill. the bar has a more authentic feel if you go there before 10pm then after that they bring in the dj and it feels just like any other bar... still great though!
