Visiting town for poker. Â Checked out the venue on Saturday, my double vodka cranberry short threw the waitress. Â No ice really. Â Took awhile for the amount of people in the bar to get cashed out too. Â Came back the next morning and the help was definitely taxed, they were working for their money. Â They definitely did the best they could with a crowd. Â Sausage biscuits and gravy, eggs over easy for breakfast Sunday. Â Gravy and eggs were good. Â Biscuits had a good consistency to go with the gravy. Â Drink prices a little high for generics. Â Mai Tais were fine, "McClouds Mimosa" pretty unoriginal and maybe a little high in price Later on a Willie Nelson burger with criss cross fries (correct spelling). Â Asked for ranch didn't get it, but my burger had some slightly spicy Thousand Island sauce served on the side (as I asked for my burger: veggies on the side) and I sufficed. Â Fries were about $6 so I got my Willie Nelson with cheese, bacon and fried egg for a few bucks more. Â Liked it. Â There water, both served and self severed were really good. Â As an after thought, the peanuts were great, especially playing poker (except people getting peanut shells on the poker tables) for a long term event. Â Throwing the shells around was a bit hard for most. Â Mother just wouldn't think it was appropriate for any reason, wood conditioning or not.
Also, we only heard country music, no variety for us. Â Ugh. Â XGames on the projectors a lot. Â Yippee!
For a Bremerton bar, this is a good place. It's packed on some nights and is relatively slow during others. Yes, it tends to be a meat market (which I actually prefer) but again, this is Bremerton. That's to be expected.
Really like the bartenders here. Haven't tried any specialty drinks or food but the beer and the service in general is good. Plus, they have the pool tables, the darts, and the dance floor. Can't complain.
