Nasty bathrooms and attitudes of the bartender. Took 15 minutes to get a drink in a slow bar; the bartender was to busy talking on her cell phone and chatting to the only other person in the bar.
The bar smelled and you could see a layer of dust every place you looked. Not to mention I went into the ladies bathroom, turned around and walked out. If the place was that dirty I wasn't drinking out of a glass from there.
I should of figured this when I was some 40 something chubby chick dressing like she was 25 and her pants where to small making her muffin top and thong show standing up. I won't even go there with her 80's curly puffy hair.
Well after searching around for a bar that was clean and had a warm feel we finally found one.
The bartendress was super attentive, which is kinda the norm around here. We walked in and she immediately said hi and put two coasters in front of us, which was nice, because she was busy and it seemed like this was a friendly way to show she noticed us and would be back.
Not a great beer selection for a beer snob, but they had mac n jack, so that worked. It was clean inside, a lot of locals/regulars. Open enjoyable layout. Nice mix of people, young and old.
And wow, the sign says come enjoy our great beer garden. And we did, lots of tall tables and umbrellas, now it's not fancy, but it's nice. Big trees, a fire pit, benches, a smoker BBQ grill.
The only two down sides of this establishment is they don't take cards, cash only and they don't serve food.
If you frequent this place more than twice a week I can tell a few things about you.
1.) Â you have a mullet haircut and it's grey (this goes for men and women)
2.) Â you are on welfare or disability
3.) Â you might be a hardcore alcoholic
We went in to check it out. Â Had one drink (yes, they are cheap!), and got totally skeeved out by the people there. Â There was a skinny black dude with a fat white chick, she looked like a prostitute and he might have been pimpin' although I have no proof. Â He kept running outside every once in a while. Â
Good people watching - if you enjoy prison documentaries.
It was not my scene.
