Where's the zero star option. This review is based off the catering from this place. Not the pub, but the catering. I Â Have been to two events that were hosted by these people and both times I was disgusted by what they presented. So much so that I didn't even eat it. I ate the apple in my bag because the flies seemed to be enjoying it more.
Presentation is everything when it comes to business and rep. The first spread was four trays of pork only BBQ with low quality plastic fork packs. Did they even try to put the cheap foil trays on a hot plate or provide a plastic table cloth?. No they threw it on the table and said enjoy. (Cold food) oh the potato salad sides and the Mac salad side were oh wait
The sides, we're provided by the people who hired wigwam along with drinks, seating, shelter, music everything!!!! This is crap!
They paid 625$ for low quality zero personality catering. This was a total rip off. The one server was texting the whole time and never once cleaned his hands.
The second event had sides provided. Brisket, pulled pork, potato salad, canned corn stuff and a jug of bbq sauce. Were there tables provided? We're there any freakin buns?! NO!!! What a joke.. No buns!?!?!?!?!? Â Even if the food was good, it's no excuse for how they represent themselves as a catering business. I could do better with 500$ and make a vibrant beautiful option full spread instead of cold BBQ and an old used jug filled with BBQ sauce. What a shame. I hope these people didn't pay to much cause anything over 500$ was a rip off.
This place may be well known with locals but it should be known by anyone that loves  a cold beer and amazing BBQ.
Met the owners Eric and Linda and they made everyone that walked in the door feel like a regular. There are 15 beers on tap at any time plus their homemade root beer which rivals A&W (and I think it's better). Now for the food. It is a simple menu of pulled pork (plate or sliders) brisket, tater salad, beans and maybe another dish or 2. The brisket is just delicious. Seriously this place beats any of the BBQ joints in the area. I had the pulled pork as well and add just a little extra of the homemade sauce and you are in BBQ heaven.
One other thing you will find here. Veterans! the owners are both Navy, the chef retired Marine. I am already looking forward to my next trip to the Wig Wam.
