Beach Side Grill and Bar

Once again while visiting family in Washington, my sister and I hit the road for a new place to eat.  We chanced upon this little place on Bay Street in Port Orchard.   Originally a Bar, the owner who we are told is a Korean gal, decided to turn half the place into a restaurant.  While the bar was relatively busy, the restaurant was closed up. We came upon a waitress outside of the place and she said "Oh, no worries, I'll open it up for you"  I looked at my sister and she looked at me and we said..."what the hell"  lets give it a try.   The little restaurant waitress turned on the lights and gave us menus.  We sat by large windows looking out at the water and a massive flock of sea birds flying in to dine as well.  The menu was a mish mash of different items ranging from steaks, Tex-Mex to Korean BBQ.  If that wasn't weird enough, the free starters were fried Pot Stickers!  They were really good.  We then ordered Clam Chowder and I ordered fried Oysters and my sister ordered fried Halibut.  The oysters were fresh and juicy, but the breading was a little thick for my taste. They were not on the menu, but if you ask, they may have what you want.  Sis said the fried halibut was very good.  Chowder was home made and pretty good.  Worth a second shot to try the steaks which are supposed to be excellent.  Service was outstanding.
