National Tavern

I like to re-visit my reviews from time to time so here it goes National Tavern!  I stopped in on Monday night after work and was greeted as I entered by a new bartender by the name of Carmen she was bubbly and talkative and was on about making my drink right away.  She suggested a appetizer which I bought and for bar food it was great!  It is such a nice place to have  a party.  Carmen told me to check out the FB page pictures which I did and plan to return for a birthday party in a few months.  Carmen, thank you.  Oh and have to add she never left the bar and was very attentive to her customers.  I did not have to wait for my drinks.  She also told me Ollie was still there.  While I have not met all the bartenders that work there the two I have met are a winning team.  I now will be in the area more and stop in as a more regular beer drinker so will be back to review again.  See you soon National Tavern!

A nice laid-back place. Well-maintained. Good drinks. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking to kick back and relax.

Laidback, unassuming locals bar with a good assortment of draft beers at reasonable prices, including a rotating selection of local brews.  There are a bunch of dart boards in the back room along with a few pool tables and TV's around the bar.  Friendly bartender.  We had the place to ourselves last Friday night, which made it the perfect place to meet a couple friends for good conversation, but I got the impression that was unusually quiet for a weekend night.
