McDonald's

Oh boy.  I'm not crazy about McDonald's - after raising two boys, I've been exposed to way too many Happy Meals to ever really want to go to McDonald's.  Also, the fact that they are EVERYWHERE usually makes it my last choice anyway.  If you can get McDonald's anytime, why even bother?  But sometimes I crave some Chicken McNuggets, and their new oatmeal is actually quite good.  

This particular store recently remodeled, and looks pretty good.  It's almost always clean, and the people are always very nice.  My biggest piece of advice here, though, is for you drive-thru customers: ALWAYS, ALWAYS check your order before you leave.  Don't worry about being rude by making the customers behind you in line wait.  Check it.  It's probably wrong.  It's so much better to fix it before you leave the drive-thru window than to get home only to discover that you actually got the order for the guy behind you.

I want to like this McDonald's because it's close to me but the truth it, they don't often get my order straight and that's after 5 years of going there. However, the people are always nice and since it was renovated in the last year or so, the inside is clean and comfortable. Wifi always seems to work and it's pretty fast and the large LCD television is a nice touch. The playland looks pretty new. All the kids and parents of young kids end up eating out there. This location is convenient if you're traveling on the 68 or 411. And it's nice having a McCafe in a small town. Of course I'll eat here often but I wish they would get my order straight more often.
