I've been here several times and I gave it a 3 Star for a few reasons. Â I've had a great lunch, walleye sandwich and good atmosphere. Â I had the same for dinner tonight and it was "fishy", two bites and I threw it in the garbage. Â I've had their Irish nachos, which are not good for you, but taste like a college kid put them together after the night at the bar. Â The atmosphere is a nice small Irish pub and it seems like a cook locals kind of hang out. Â Their food could use some attention and fine tuning. Â Not bad, not great. Â They should take a few pages out of the Irish pubs in Minneapolis. Â I'm just saying.
Review Source:Been back and I have to say I can't forgive the food anymore. Â We ordered the Guiness cheese dip with pita, etc. Â It came with POTATO CHIPS. Â And was TASTELESS. We even tried to doctor it up with Husband's Guiness and salt and pepper, but it was still tasteless (like pure cream cheese). Â That being said, apparently you should come here for beer, booze, any kind of alcohol is okay. Â This place was meant for drinking, not eating, imho.
Review Source:I keep going back to this place because the food is always what I expected. Â I have had OK service but the reason I come back is for the soups and pretty great mussels, I expect seafood to be frozen and that is what you get everywhere but the stout mussels are made well enough that you can forget about that.
Review Source:McNallys Irish pub is a place that has always had great food. Because they allowed smoking all over the restaurant we were only able to go in the summer when the patio was open. Â Since SD enacted a smoking ban, we were able to dine inside on our last visit. Â I was not disappointed. Â My favorite is the Walleye. Â It is by far the best in town. Â Served with mashed potatoes and vegetables it is quality throughout. Â The servers have always been exceptionally efficient and friendly. Â Great place.
