I've been to Melting Pot restaurants for many years, this is my first time back since I've joined Yelp and as usual, this particular place, one of the new ones, didn't disappoint.
The service is always exceptional at Melting Pots, my wife and I have never had a bad experience - never. Â The food at first looks like it's not enough (it always looks like it's never enough), but we always leave knowing we ate way too much. Â
Their menu has changed over the years, but it remains true to its core - fondue. Â Whether it's for the dinner or dessert, the choices are all good and always hard to pick from. Â
If you're looking for a special dinner on a special night - The Melting Pot is for you.
The Food was great, after we finally was served. Â The service was terrible. Â Our waiter was exeptionally inattentive, paying way more attention to the table with the drunken girls sitting next to us. Â Took 2 hours to have out entree delivered to our table. Â Our waiter was so bad that another waiter from a different section noticed that we weren't being taken care of us. Â He even suggested that we speak with a manager. Â The manager did comp most of our meal. Â When in the area I will have to think twice before returning. Â Too bad cause the food and concept were great.
Review Source:Love fondue and the service and food here is very good. My biggest complaint and this goes for all the Melting Pot restaurants is that I never find the food here very fresh particularly with the Cheese Fondue and the salad. The veggies are always dry and not fresh. Even our broccoli was brown and the carrots looked all dried out. The bread was stale also. I think it is a little pricey for the quality and quantity.
I keep giving it another chance as I adore fondue and I would go regularly if they would just take more care in the freshness and amount of cheese they serve with the cheese fondue.
I'm giving it 4 stars rather than 3 in hopes they will read this and improve the freshness of their bread and  veggies.
Really enjoy that we have Melting Pot around the corner. They always have specials, and last night was 2 for 1 martinis. Always great for a group of girls or a family event.
So excited to find out Thursday is kids eat free with an adult entree and cheese.
Everytime I have had excellent service and great food.
I agree if you are going to The Melting Pot, you are going for the experience. Â I had a good time and the food was good. Â I can see myself going maybe twice a year. Â The waitstaff was great, we also had Matty. I would like to see the main course a little larger. Â I went with my wife and the full course dinner was around $120 with 2 beers. Â I can't say it is a great deal, but if you want a good meal and plenty of time to talk with someone then The Melting Pot is a good choice. Â On a side note, the meat is spiced, you have a flavored cooking broth, and about 7 dipping sauces. Â It seemed a little overkill.
Review Source:I went here with a Living Social voucher and it was well worth the experience. Â This is the second MP that I've gone to and my only real complaint is that this one seems less intimate and cozy than the one I previously went to in Tacoma, WA.
The server was awesome and provided recommendations and was very friendly and chatty despite how busy the place was.
The food. Â What can you say about the food really? Â It all comes down to the cuts of meat - good, btw, your selections (many) and your own cooking which can really vary the experience.
Overall, the location is good and the place is nice enough to forget that you're in a shopping mall while you're there. Â It can be pricey if you're not familiar with the chain and you can spend a few hrs here easily so plan for both.
It was my first visit to Melting Pot, but won't be the last. Â Everything was great! Â Our server, Matty, took excellent care of us and the food was all fantastic. Â The experience was fun, and our group really enjoyed it. Â A bit pricey, yes, but certainly worth the level of service and attention to detail. Â The experience, service, and food were definitely worth the cost, and we will certainly return. Â Cheddar and Swiss fondues, filet, sirloin, chicken, shrimp, Flaming Turtle, and Yin and Yang were tried and enjoyed by all at our table. Â I can't wait to go back! Â Next time, I'll request one of the secluded side booths for two, very cozy and romantic!
Review Source:Love this place. Fantastic cheese fondue, savory meats with delicious sauces, and decadent chocolate! Service is good as well. A bit pricey, but great for special occasions and celebrations. If it's just my husband and I, we'll usually get all the courses but split the entree, and still end up totally stuffed. It's even more fun to go with a group, so you can sample different things. Every few months they have different seasonal offerings, called 'the Big Night Out'.
The cheddar cheese and swiss fondue are my favorites. For chocolate, cookies and cream or the original (chocolate + PB) are excellent. Really, almost anything you get will be good.
Also, the servers don't always tell you, but most of the dipping items (not the meats of course) are refillable.
We had a wonderful experience while on vacation on our anniversary.  The food is a bit pricey, but it's not like you go there everyday.  We could have gone somewhere else and gotten more food for the money however  would miss out on the whole fondue experience.  The ambience was awesome. The low- lit tall  booths are perfect for cozying up.  It seems like there are hundreds of martinis and wines to choose from.  We told no one it was our anniversary but our waiter/ chef treated us like we were high roller royalty.  We probably spent about  175 for the 2 of us. That included  2 martinis, a bottle of wine and the whole dinner four course for 2.  We make sure we visit each time we are in the area.
Review Source:Absolutely predictable. And absolutely fun (if you bring the right people). We have eaten here, and at Melting Pots at various places for the past 23 years. The experience is almost always the same. Good for them. Light banter and an atmosphere that quickly just evolves around your table.
Bravo, for a place where you cook your own food!
I loved the romantic atmosphere. My fiance and I went to the Melting Pot in Melbourne, Florida, the day before Valentines Day and we loved it. It was very romantic. The food is basic, but if you want a romantic night out with your love one this is the place to go. The service is very good and the place is nice.
Review Source:There must be a corporate policy at The Melting Pot barring douche bags from employment. Â I've been pleasantly surprised with the attentiveness, and genuine faux interest in my meal displayed by MP servers. Â This can be a highly interactive experience, so you have to do your part and not be a douche bag either. Â
Everyone knows this is a two hour minimum right? Â And basically at LEAST $100 for two people for a full meal. Â The food is good, but 1/2 of it is very basic. Â The novelty of the experience is what keeps you entertained, at least on your first visit. Â
After a few visits though, you start looking at that check (which likely deserves a hefty tip). Â At this point, you will declare that your relationship with The Melting Pot is over as you realize that you really DID just spend $137 on a meal for two.
My first time at this location. Â Sat at the bar because there were no tables available. Service was fast but impersonal. Â Had been to the Dr. Phillips location before and Viera location was much larger, functional and fun. Â Lots of knooks and cranny's if you want some privacy or open space for PDA! Â It was a first date for me so there was neither. Â Don't know if there will be a second date, but do know I will be back at the Melting Pot.
Review Source:We were pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. A party of 4, we shared the swiss cheese appetizer for 2 ($16) and were glad we did. The house salad was outstanding and colorful. For entrees, we ordered to Pacific something, which included beef, pork, duck, shrimp, and chicken.
We ordered one pot of oil-based, and one pot of broth-based, which worked well. Small servings of dipping sauces are included, as well as batter. After the entrees, we were pleasingly stuffed-to-the-gills, but that did not deter us from splitting a chocolate fondue, with peanuts. I do believe this is what heaven tastes like.
The decor is upscale and tasteful. The service was good. Price ran about $45 per head, including a glass of wine for 2 in our party, and tip. We all agreed it was a fair price, and we all enjoyed ourselves.
Everytime I go here I have a nice time, but tell myself I won't go back.  The food is good, the atmosphere is fun, and there's certainly nowhere else quite like it... a fun time for a group of friends.  But value-for-money I always feel like I spent a lot of money for food I have to cook myself!  The quality of the ingredients is good, and they add menu specials to jazz things up periodically.  They also have an excellent bar with many unique martini choices, and a decent wine list.  Like I said, I always have fun, but somewhere along the way they always end up losing me...probably when I grow weary of trying to fish out another piece of beef or shrimp or chicken out of the hot oil because it fell off or got knocked off by the other 5 sticks in the pot!  If it was about $5 a person cheaper I'd give it 4 stars.  I know... cooking it yourself is "the fun part", but if I'm going to spend that much, I'd like to not have to work that hard  !  : )
Review Source:The Melting Pot is a unique experience, to be sure. A great spot for date night, or ladies night out. In fact, every so often, they have a "ladies night" here which my girlfriends and I frequent. The Melting Pot is a medium-sized place, dark ambiance, pretty good food - all fondue-based. It's a little pricey, but the wait staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I recommend anything chocolate, and highly recommend the love martini.
