    Delicious subs but pricey.

A Springfield resident called Mike and Rosy's a "local treasure," and I agree. I regularly make the 25 mile drive just to get the best corned beef, pastrami and Swiss sandwich north of Cincinnati's legendary Izzy's. Rosy's Press Box upstairs is a decent sports bar, but its hours often don't mesh with my visits during the week. Oh be sure to try the cole slaw. I always head home with two containers.

Cute family owned deli! Sports memorabilia is a very nice touch to the decor.

That being said, the food is good.  I would expect more meat in the subs but what's provided is delicious.

Sad points: staff is slow (so hope you aren't in a hurry) and it is a little pricey (esp considering the current economy)

Still, I do believe in supporting small owned businesses and will be back.

This is one of the worst so called delis I have ever been to.  The food is just your basic stuff you can get at a Walmart deli. The prices you pay for what you get are outrageous! The service is alright for a over priced establishment. Any deli is better than this one! Go to Izzy's or even a grocery store, you will be a lot happier.

I love this place. Great atmosphere, great sandwiches and great beer! I do think the subs are a little pricey, they could at least offer a measly side with them.

Great food but you would think charging so much they would add more deli meat to the sandwich you ordered.   I ordered the cornbeef and for a princely sum got hardly any meat. It was very good but they skimp, put aside skimpy portions, and the food was excellent.  Overall, I think it's overpriced.

Stopped by this deli based on the recommendation of a local.  I had a turkey sub with provolone on light rye bread.  It was good; I liked the way they steam it to melt the cheese and warm the bread.  I agree with the other poster who mentioned the weirdness with the two ordering locations.  If I was in the area I might go back, but I would prefer a turkey sub from Super Subbies!

Great subs. Kinda pricey for subs (probably because they use high-quality ingredients), but worth it for a night out.

I do of course have 2 criticisms:

    1. They are generally not very friendly. Could be because they are busy, could be that they ownership doesn't make it a priority.
    2. Ordering system is confusing. There are two places where you can order and no matter which one I go to they usually tell me to go to the other one.

GREAT food, and very nice dining area.

I seriously have dreams of this place. I never knew that something as simple as a sub sandwich could be a regional food but it is! Since moving from Ohio to Philadelphia three years ago, I've had a hard time transitioning to using the word "hoagie" on the East Coast (colloquial Philly dialect). Don't get me wrong, the Italian hoagies here are killer but I miss the familiarity of this Midwestern establishment.

Delicious rolls, shaved meats, hearty cheeses= heaven. I like walking into this place, smelling the scent of steamed subs, glazing over the Wittenberg sports' memorabilia and being able to speak my native language. A MUST stop if you are ever in the area.

Mike & Rosy's is a solid deli. It was always a place to get a great sub that was a cut above the rest.

Here are my 2 favorite things about this old-school Springfield establishment:

The Steam. They steam their subs so the cheese melts and the bun is soft.... so good!

The mushroom soup. It really is amazing. Super smooth with real mushrooms swimming around.

If you are in the neighborhood, definitely swing by!
