A cup of carrot soup laced with spinach, Doug's goulash and Jenny's chocolate ice cream all accompanied by a glass of Pinot noir and a Porto - an 'emergency room' visit as I'm passing through Springfield - add a fresh rose on the table and a great baguette (would be even greater if heated to croustillant not just warmed) along with generous and attentive wait staff, Make My Day! Bravo!
Review Source:Nestled among the business buildings of downtown Springfield is a beautiful little Bistro. As soon as you enter, you are transformed into a whole different world of cuisine, arts and music. It is not just the food, which is excellent, but the whole ambiance. The service was superb and friendly. The menu had a lot to choose from, and something for every taste. We were told the selection changes every season, hence the name, so there is variety year round. My husband loves their Bison Burger. It looked delicious so I had to take a bite and was glad I did. It is not only tasty but healthy meat. The dessert lineup was divine, specially the chocolate espresso creme. The walls are decorated with paintings and artwork from up and coming artists. A live band provided classy jazz music adding to the atmosphere. Dayton, Columbus, Cincinnati, take note. It is a great dining experience and worth the drive to Springfield.
