A simple meal, which can be relatively inexpensive if you get the chicken meals, but can be a bit more pricey if you get the other options such as the beef. I had the 1/4 chicken + yucca + tortilla which was delicious. Very similar to the chicken place in Aberdeen. My husband had the carne asada with yucca + tortilla. We had to wait a little over 10 minutes for his dish but he enjoyed it a lot. They are a bit stingy regarding the sauce, but you can purchase more for a price.
Review Source:I have been to this restaurant twice for carry out. The restaurant itself is very clean and well maintained. The woman who was working during both occasions was friendly and packaged the food quickly. The food is really wonderful; I especially enjoyed the fried plantains and the fried rice. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. It is lovely to have an alternative to the 50,000 pizza/pasta places and fast food in Edgewood.
Review Source:I used to live in Northern Virgina where Peruvian Chicken places were plenty everywhere. I was excited to discover this place when I moved up to Edgewood, and went here almost every week. The chicken is juicy, tender, and flavorful, and sure beats going to Boston Market or the grocery store Rotisserie chicken. The food is also super affordable and convenient, for only $17, I can get a whole chicken with 2 side orders, enough to last dinner for 4 nights without having undergo the chore of going grocery shopping and cooking.
