The food was spot on fantastic. If you are in the area go here for lunch and dinner and go often. The pork chop and NY Strip were perfect. The sauced cabbage is savory and yummy.
Any place making their own biters knows what they are doing. Thanks for a fantastic lunch.

Mikey's is the best in our 'neighborhood bar & grill' category.  I'm live halfway between Mikey's and another Stevens Point Favorite, the Hilltop.  Of the two, Mikey's is my favorite.  The food here is a level up. Mikey's is much less dependent on how things arrive from food suppliers like Sysco than the Hilltop.  Mikey's dinner menu is eclectic. It includes many choices. If it doesn't have something to your liking, don't be afraid to ask for the lunch menu at dinner time.  39 beers on tap and only steps away from the O'so brewery tap house. Large family-friendly dining area. Friday fish fry rates 'ok'.

Had the IPA Burger....was very good and probably worth the $10. The selection of beers is great (39 on tap). The atmosphere was slow but classy for Plover/Rapids/Point area which brings me to the thought that I am surprised this place has lasted as long as it has cuz none of those places spills "class". It's nice though to have a place like this in the area though.

Great Burgers, Awesome Fish and a great selection of beers.  Service was a little slow but we had a group of 14 at 8 at night.  I would go there again.

I recently came here to watch a Packer game while home for the holidays and was genuinely impressed. It's nice to see good old Plover/Stevens Point area have a place like this available.

The atmosphere is comfortable, modern, and attractive while the service was just as warm. They have a substantial beer selection (30-40) of mostly Wisconsin beers, while serving up a nice twist on bar food and high-end options too. Their fried cheese curds made me feel right at home, while the Creole quesadilla was deliciously crafted - probably one of the best quesadillas I've had (and I lived in Texas for a while). Spicy sausage, jalapenos, peppers, black beans, wild rice and zesty chipotle sauce in a quesadilla - jambalya met quesadilla and fell in love.

If you're looking for a neighborhood bar that has good food, good craft beer, plenty of TVs (they even have one in the bathroom mirror!), and isn't aged by 40 years of smoking then come to Mikey's and take a load off.

Excellent draft beer selection,  order the slow roased braised pork shank with red potatoes, great meal , not your typical bar food.  Also great value. Really nice place.

I went here for a few drinks on a recent girls night out (so this is just for the bar - not the grill).  There is a nice set-up with a long bar along the far side of the establishment.  I was a bit disappointed to get the last (half) glass of Spotted Cow they had on tap - but they gave it to me on the house, which I thought was a good gesture.  Overall, a decent selection of beers on tap and other bottled alcohol and a full bar.  The tap beer was a little pricey, but again, the atmosphere is little better than some of the other bar & grills in the area.  There are a couple of pool tables set up between the bar/bar table area and the entrance/dining area.  This is kind of awkward when walking through to the bar, but not too bad.  Overall, a nicer (more grown-up) atmosphere than the downtown bars.

Atmosphere was a little weird. They had windows hanging from the ceiling, which I found ugly, and not at all classy. And $4 for a Leinie's tap?? Come on!  Not Guinness or Bell's, or any kind of awesome microbrew, but Leinie's. And a small glass at that. No thanks, Mikey's, I'll go get ripped off somewhere else.

Went here with a few co-workers. Surprised at how cozy and relaxing this place is 'cause it's in the Plover strip mall. Food is good, price is fantastic. Our server was excellent, she was attentative.

They had a live singer / band the evening we went.  It's a little too loud for my taste, we couldn't hear each other talk.

Definitely give this place a try. I'm heading back to try all the other things on the menu!

Huge menu, decent food, solid beer list, but a bit smokey.

I went to this place with some colleagues after work due to its proximity to the hotel we were staying at.  Steven's Point isn't exactly a food mecca so when we saw a non-chain grill/bar/restaurant we had to try it out.

On a weekday evening the place was pretty desolate.  We were seated in the non-smoking section, but at the end of the meal I had inhaled the equivalent of two second-hand cigarettes.  We wanted to watch the game so they seated us near one of the flat screens, which were much more concentrated around the bar area than the rest of the restaurant.

They had a few micro brews, some local drafts, and a decent bottle list on the beer menu.  The food menu is actually pretty gigantic for a bar/grill type restaurant - they have an entire page dedicated to fish entrees.  I'm a sucker for cajun food so I went with the "Louisian" which was kind of like Jumbalaya dish with penne pasta, black beans, sausage, and a creamy tomato-ey sauce.  It looked so good that everyone at my table ordered it and everyone equally enjoyed it.

The service was great (although this wasn't surprising given the number of patrons), the prices were completely reasonable, and the food was pretty solid for a random strip-mall Steven's Point restaurant.  Definitely worth a try!
