Mitch's Bar and Grille has inadequate staff to handle large parties of people. A group of coworkers and friends of mine frequented this establishment this past Friday. As soon as we arrived around 7:45 p.m., things started to go bad. The waiter/bartender (who was super friendly) said he had only been on staff for 20 minutes and really was just winging it. His difficulties resulted in members of my party not receiving food after two hours and going home hungry.
I did receive my dish and it was nothing to write home to mom about. There is guy in the back who is working the fryer and the grill. The wings were good, but you could go somewhere else and get better.
I will not be going back anytime soon.
I've finally got a few visits under my belt, enough to give a some what informed review!
Mitch's is low key and great for a group of friends wanting to hang out, chat and throw back a few drinks. Â In terms of food, I've only sampled the sweet potato tots and a wing or two. Â I am not a wing eater but friends have been very happy with the wings here. Â They have a huge selection of homemade sauces that add an element of uniqueness to Mitch's.
The waitress at Mitch's is very attentive and kept our drinks flowing. Â Mitch's is a great addition to 9th Street.
