Great Q. Great atmosphere. Kind of a local honky tonk with music that just happens to have good food and southern soul food sides!

Okay, first the positives, the Turkey Sandwich was great, real smoky flavor.  The Pork Plate was equally as good in taste without sauce.  The BBQ sauce is average, nothing to write home about, or Yelp.  :)  A big negative, the sign of a good BBQ joint in the South to me is the quality of their Banana Pudding.  Moe's came in a 4oz cup, had a Nilla Wafer on the bottom, a vaguely banana flavored grey colored pudding in it, topped with a Nilla Wafer on top.  No slices of bananas, no meringue.  Sadly, being the worst banana pudding I've had at a BBQ joint (worse than using store bought pudding mix), I had to give the place a 3 stars.  Will eat there again for the meat, not for dessert.  Save your money on dessert.

This place rocks.  Great pulled pork BBQ and deliciously awesome smoked wings (seriously, nothing like your average hooters or Buffalo wings).  If you haven't had them, you got to at least try their wings once.

They usually have good specials, like $0.50 wings on mondays.  Great bar too, but it's unfortunately packed most nights now due to them opening up the other side. :(

I had the 12 smoked chicken with white bbq sauce, and it was really moist and had a great smokey flavor. I also loved the fried green tomatoes with pickled onions and remoulaude. The jalapeno cornbread was pretty good too. The banana pudding was a little too runny for me. The atmosphere is loud, and would not be good for kids.

As far as banana pudding goes, I'm hooked... they were out of the oreo pudding and my kid was given the banana pudding instead. (Yes, they were out of almost everything when we went...even the beef so I wound up with pork) But, we all agreed- we'd beat someone for the nanner-puddin'...

I decided to go to Moe's because I had never been to it and I'm always willing to give a new place a try. The barbque is pretty goo but the portions are way too small. Almost every single side item is depressing. Maybe it is becasue I went there at night, but every single side dish was reheated and dry and wer definitely made in the morning. The atmosphere is decent and is a good place to watch a game but not to get a full meal. When I go to a barbque joint, especially in the south, I thoroughly expect to be over whelmed with the amount of food set before me. I'm all about leaving room for desert, but I don't want/need that much desert, and while we're talking about deserts.....are you kidding me, their Jello banana pudding is sad and is something I would expect from a cheap southern diner. Also, with Dreamland located in the same city, you better have an awesome sauce, Moe's sauce = not so awesome grocery store taste.

I'd say the food is a little bit on the expensive side, but still very decent @ ~$10 for sandwich and two sides. I really like the atmosphere, and great drink specials on Thursdays. Had a buddy visiting that enjoyed it as well.

I always enjoy the variety of sides but really like Moe's more as a venue. The food is good but the bar & live music are what keep me coming back.

Please read Jaime's review, and know that is the exact same experience I had.  In fact, we had it together.  She beat me to the punch on reviews :(. I am however going to give them one more star than she gives for two reasons.  One reason is they associate with Maker's Mark.  Being from Kentucky, this makes me happy.  The second reason for giving them an extra star is because she's too critical.

Eh, definitely not trying to rush back to this place in the near future. I ordered wings and tried to get sweet potatoes and mac n cheese as my sides. It was mid-day and they were already out of the smoked sweet potatoes.

The food took about 30-40 minutes (which I think is a long time for counter service food). We picked up our food and it was given to us without corn bread (which was included) and my mac n cheese. When this was questioned we were told they were all out of both mac n cheese and corn bread. Really, come on! What was most frustrating about this was that the food was given to us without them even asking if I'd like a replacement side. I paid for an entree, two sides, and cornbread... much different than an entree and one side.

The food was so-so, though  I admit I was a bit biased after I didn't get the food I had originally wanted. The wings were allright, but they had a little bit too much sauce and not enough flavor themselves. Definitely had better experiences.

Had the chicken wings and they were excellent. Typical college hide out. Prices good.

Lunch here was good. Menu is straight forward, not trying to do too many things. Pulled Pork, smoked chicken, smoked wings, fried shrimp and fried catfish are main dishes. They are served either as a platter or a sandwich.
Pulled pork sandwich was pretty average, nice portion, sweet sauce, pickles.
Not an award winning situation but, I would eat here again.
