Had breakfast here. Â Blueberry pancakes were good. Â No butter until I asked. Â Coffee was good. Â Atmosphere not very cheery, at least not where I was seated, near the kitchen. Â The other room is probably sunnier. Not inexpensive for what you get, but there is not much competition with a full menu in Ringoes.
Review Source:My friend and I stopped at Mom's for a quick lunch before heading to a nearby vineyard. Â I ordered a grilled cheese with bacon and tomato and my friend ordered the classic grilled chicken sandwich. Â We also ordered the onion rings for an appetizer.
The onion rings were brought out with our meal, even though I asked they come as an app- but no big deal, they were really tasty. Â My grilled cheese was good and came with chips and a little thimble of coleslaw and tiny slice of a pickle (luckily my friend doesn't like coleslaw nor pickles, so I was able to take hers). Â She enjoyed her chicken sandwich as well as the coin-shaped fries.
The staff wasn't especially friendly. Â It seems like everyone here is a local so I guess they don't take well to strangers. Â My unsweetened iced tea was really weak and I asked if they had a stronger batch. Our server brought me out a new one but it was pretty much the same strength (and he didn't check up on me to see if it was okay). Â Overall it was a pretty decent, quick lunch but I wouldn't mind trying any of the many other restaurants along 202 nearby.
