Pros: Yummy sandwiches, delivery and carry out available, best breadsticks!
Cons: Salad seems bagged
Order at the window, have a seat and someone will bring you your order. Â You have to flip through the menu at the window, so I don't know why they don't just come to your table and take your order at your table like most places. Â I can get over that pretty easily though, it's no biggie.
I love their sandwiches, and their ham and cheese comes highly recommended! Â They have thin crust and pan pizza available, and I always prefer a thicker crust so I go for pan. Â My favorite things about Moncial's? Â Their breadsticks! Â They are like a cross between traditional breadsticks and soft pretzels. Â They are soft, warm and topped with a light coating of salt much like soft pretzels. Â Yum yum yum. Â
All in all, a great place to grab lunch in WL!
I've had this pizza on one occasion, and I was pleasantly surprised at its tastiness. Â The crust is very thin, but nicely crispy. Â The sauce has a nice flavor to it. Â Note that these are very thin pizzas, and the toppings are not piled high. Â You might need to order more than usual because the thinness means it is not as filling as others. Â I would definitely order from here again when in town.
Review Source:They have great pizza. If you like a lot of toppings the individual pizzas are the best deal, $5 for a personal specialty pizza. Or if you order online at http://hungryboiler.com you can find some decent specials.
Review Source:I never knew about this place while I was at Purdue since it's hidden in a little strip mall that's a little out of the way. But when I came back for a visit, I came here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. My previous favorite place in town for pizza was Schlotzky's, but they unfortunately have closed. This isn't quite the same, but it's still pretty good. They've got a good deal during lunchtime on personal size pizzas, and my BBQ chicken pizza had a thin, crispy crust and nicely flavored sauce. If I lived in town, I'd definitely be back more often!
