Mt Bethel Diner

I'm not sure what happened with those who wrote poor reviews, if it changed hands or cooks, but we came back 4-5 times for breakfast and loved it.  They gave us 3 options of potatoes.  We also came back for dinner one night, and except for the one waitress (who regrettably we got for dinner- don't go left, go right upon walking in and avoid her), we LOVED our dinner.  It was obvious everything, including the soup, was homemade.  The portions for both breakfast and dinner were great.  The food was tasty, and if we lived closer, we'd probably go at least 3 times a week.  Don't let the others deter you.  Try it out.  Maybe they think it's some other place.  And the prices are great.

Prices are ridiculously cheap. Pumpkin pancakes were okay, sausage it came with was okay. I also ordered 2 eggs the order came with home fries and orange juice. It came out with a extra serving of sausage and instead of just giving it too me our waitress went back into the kitchen and the sausage was never to be seen again....at least by my eyes.....maybe by someone else's order...eggs were fine.....rye toast was decent...home fries sucked.....over cooked and bland. This is a really cheap diner in the middle of nowhere that does things okay.

Love the diner, favorite place for us to eat breakfast! The apple pancakes are amazing!! Prices are super reasonable. Typical diner atmosphere and typical diner food! All the desserts, soups and specials are home made!! Good place to go for a homecooked quick breakfast, lunch or dinner!
