Great eclectic selection of dishes... they're 'small plate' style, but the portions are generous. Â We tried the jalepeno & cheese risotto, short rib sliders, fish tacos, and crab cakes, and all were well executed. Â
Extensive drink menu, and reasonable prices. Â Would give it 4.5 stars if I could, but will round up for the lounge in the back and it's collection of comfy chairs.
Great place in Mount Kisco. Â Was home visiting from Vegas and found this place. Â Very interesting menu of "American Tapas" The Seared Tuna was done right with a wasabi sauce, The Lobster Roll was great with just the right about of lemon mayo on it and the Vegetable Plate really rounded out the experience nicely. Â The prices were great and the size of the food allowed me to try a number of dishes. Â
I am a big Tequila fan and they had a great selection there. Â That was one of the reasons I went. Â I am a big fan of Don Julio 70 and they had it, that is a hard one to find at times, they also had another of my favorites the Deleon Extra Anejo.
The staff was friendly, with relaxed service. Â It was so nice to just kick back and enjoy the evening. Â The staff really makes you feel welcome with no pressure to do anything other than enjoy yourself.
When I was there I had a chance to see Victoria Herrman and Alex Nolan do and acoustical set, they were great. Â The place does music, comedy nights, karaoke, wine tastings, etc. etc. The event schedule I took with me had over 30 events planned on it.
This was a cool little place . . . I recommend it for people who like good music, food and drinks.
Tips:
1. Find the Lounge in the back, especially if you are on a date
2. If you love Tequila belly up to the bar and ask for Christina . . . she knows her stuff
3. Go hungry and try four or six of the dishes there
4. The place is a Venue, that is right a Venue, they have live entertainment there.
Another loud, boring room for a decidedly older crowd replaces the loud, boring room that was there for the younger crowd when this was a mock-Irish bar. An interesting selection of taps and bottles, but the layout of the room lends itself to crowding (elbowing, mostly) easily, making food and beverage difficult to enjoy. Beware live music nights. Overpriced, even for Westchester.
