Mudsocks isn't as horrible as a couple of the reviews make it out to be, however, it isn't great either. If someone wanted to meet there for dinner, I would go, but I probably won't go there of my own choosing. There are  other better places in the same general area in he same price range that serve much better food
Locally owned which is nice, but same chain food blandness.
This was the worst dining experience I've had in a long time. We arrived on a Friday night and the place was pretty empty, which is rarely a good sign. We were very hungry, though, and preferred to give this place a try rather than going somewhere else that had a wait. Suffice it to say, we learned our lesson. We were seated right away by a pleasant hostess, but were placed in a booth directly across from the kitchen doors, despite almost the entire restaurant being empty. We waited for about five minutes before our waitress came by to get drink orders. She was very sweet; however, she stood several feet away from the table and spoke in a very quiet voice, so it was virtually impossible to make out what she was saying. When we let her know that we were having a hard time hearing her because of the proximity to kitchen noise and her standing far from the table, she acknowledged that she has a soft voice, but she didn't move closer to the table or try to speak more loudly. We started with an order of nachos to curb our hunger pains while we perused the rest of the menu. Unfortunately, the nachos left so little to be desired that we decided to forgo dinner here and head to another restaurant. I'm not sure how you can mess up nachos, but they managed to do so. They were lukewarm, at best, and very dry. The toppings were few and far between. I can't say I would recommend this place to anyone.
