Ended up here for St. Patrick's day. Service was quite speedy - especially for being as busy as it was (Irish Pubs can be crazy on SPD). I had the Ruben Spring Rolls again as well as the Irish Onion Soup. Both were great - lots of cheese on the soup.
Also, they had a pig roast for the holiday outside, which was pretty cool!
This was rougghhhhhh....
So when you are the only real eatery, and watering hole, convenient to your hotel room you typically are stuck with this choices down in the lobby. This choice was made only because we had too. Our team was hungry, and thirsty, and settled for the only thing that was easy for all of us to go to. So our group of 12 or so people were quickly sat in the big open dining area. And then madness happened....
Our waitress was confused between drink orders and food orders she ended up just bringing out random food. We were left with the most random stuff (chicken wings galore) on our table and neither we, nor our waitress, was sure what we ordered. It's a shame too, because she was beautiful! Just could not handle a big group.
As for the food - one step above the buffet line at Golden Coral...Super salty, fatty wings, mac and cheese (that was sent back) which was just some elbow pasta with melted cheese (runny), a mish mosh of bar food and baby food. It was not pretty. A lot of our food from both sides of the long table was not eaten and sent back. Sadness.
Aside from the rough waitress skills, we came in to drink one night and were met with a confrontational bartender! He just handed bills to us at closing time with random charges on it! There were about 4 different checks for the 10 of us drinking and there were such a bunch of random charges we didn't know who was who's orders. Fail. And the bartenders advice? "Figure it out on your own". WRONG! We are paying, you figure it out!
Blahhhhh...I really don't want to eat, or drink, here ever again. I am hoping we don't have to stay here next year as passionately as I feel about this place!
