Have gone here 3 times for pizza now, fell for the screw job twice but not tonight! The first time we seen a sign in the window while driving past stating "Large cheese pizza $6.99" called, ordered it went to pick it up. The owner rang us out at $12.99 stating that the $6.99 price was Mon-Thurs only and that it was on the window sign. It was written so small that you could not see it from the street. A month later I stopped for a slice, there was a sign out front stating $1.00 slices, he charged me $2.00 saying that someone forgot to take the sign down. so I paid the 2 bucks. Tonight being a Tuesday I called for the $6.99 special the girl told me that it is now $7.99, when picking it up "Nick" I believe, got up from the customer seats where he was watching Italian TV and looking at his iPad to ring me out. He said $9.99 plus tax. Stating that no one in town will give you a pizza for $7.99 on a Tuesday I told him the girl on the phone said $7.99. He didn't care, the price was $9.99 or I could not have the pizza. I said that I drove all the way here and was only paying the $7.99 that I was quoted. Now the whole time this girl was standing behind him giggling and making faces, I'm not sure about what or at who. Finally I played the Italiano card and got the pizza for $7.99.
Many posts on many sites about the same type of things happening to many people, just read them. Hopefully he will go under soon!
Wings were good, but when i went to pickup the price was completely different from what was stated on the website. Â when I called to ask about the discrepancy.. the explanation I received was quite humurous,The person on the phone explained that chicken wings(the wholesale price) Went SkY high and EVERYONE was loosing money.. Ok... Well OIP didn't change their prices???Back to my call... He said the price was higher because of said wholesale price.. and another dollar for,and I quote"something I'm not sure" Now I'm a pretty loyal guy when it comes to my pizza joints... but for someone who will take advantage of a new and potential repeat customer doesn't deserve my hard earned money. Stick with OIP for the Wings.. they are much more consistent and loyal..I totally agree With Tracie L's review
Review Source:Nick's pizza is delicious, and I've been a customer for many years now.  But over the years I have experienced poor customer service by Nick, the owner, multiple times.  Today was the last straw.  I was quoted a price for a large pizza, wings, and a liter soda over the phone.  Placed my order, when I went to pick it up the cashier rang me out for the price she quoted me.  Nick asked if I had the coupon for the price, and I told him I didn't, I was quoted that price over the phone and was never told to bring a coupon.  He told the girl to void my payment, and charged me more, and came around the corner to point at his price board and show me the true price of my order (like I'm some idiot and I'm supposed to have memorized the prices of his food).  I insisted i was quoted a different price, and it included a soda.  He apologized and told me he couldn't give me the pizza at that low price, despite the quote.  The poor girl working there even insisted she quoted us that price!  Now he should have just let us take the order for what we were quoted over the phone, then informed the girl of his "rules" about the "specials" after we left.  I was obviously upset over the whole thing, and I asked if I was even going to get the soda as promised and he said, "no."  I was very annoyed, and he did end up trying to offer me the soda after I complained, but I just wanted to get out of there and never return.  He puts a portable sign outside of his pizzeria advertising $1 slices, but then in light lettering writes "M-F 10-3."  That's not a problem, but he puts this portable sign out on the weekends!  and after 3pm!  It's not technically false advertising, but come on!!  It's obvious he wants to get customers in the door, then when you place your order and he gives you the total, it is no where near what  you expected!  He always has an excuse why you don't get the stated "special."  Nick has to realize there are plenty of pizza places in CNY, and I am more than happy to give my business to someone else.  I don't care how good your pizza is, if you are a jerk to your customers I won't return.
