Nicoletti's Park Place

My wife and I have dined at Nicoletti's a number of times...  on the waterfront patio and the dinning room.  The food and service on the patio was very good and the live band certainly added to the waterfront atmosphere.  The dinning room is tastefully decorated and compliments the varied menu choices and excellent food.  The live piano music and attentive service make this a special place for dinning.  We highly recommend Nicoletti''s.

After only one meal there I feel they have a top notch chef. I know they have a top notch location, the view is great  It was a special occasion and we ordered lobster and a bottle of wine.  The lobster was a 2pounder and wonderful!  The beans and spinach were equally good.  I want this restaurant to do well, it is great having them on the water!
However, we did complain. If they are going to serve expensive meals they need NOT to do that until they have serving pieces to go with the meal. Our butter did not have a warming candle under it and it did not remain melted.  When I questioned this, I was told that they are new and they are on order.  I replied that they should not serve lobster then until they could serve it properly.  Our butter was hard before we finished eating.  Also, we were not given a separate plate on which to discard our shells.  After asking, we were given salad bowls. It would have been nice to have wet wipes to use after we finished eating, whole lobsters are messy, these also were not provided.
We will go back after they have been opened for a while as the view and the chef was excellent.

We first visited this place because we liked the band that was scheduled to play but have returned many times because we just love the food and patios near the lake.  First rate restaurant.  Only one suggestion, by bringing out citronella candles or torches near the lake would enable patrons to stay longer by discouraging the Mosquitos.  But I love this place!!
