Went with a large group. Had reservations for the large group. Warned them that they need to be certain they have enough help on hand to handle. High end group, frequent dine out types. Food was good- nothing special. Service was incredibly poor, especially when they had correct reservations for the group. Took almost 3 hours to eat and reconcile the bill. They also missed out on a considerably larger bar bill- they did not have enough help assigned to handle. But plenty in main dining area, which was all but empty. Very very poor. Highly unlikely the group- and probably most of those who went to try them for the first time,. Too bad, because was one of my favorite spots. Will probably never go again, and most of the group left pretty disappointed.

Food was good and so was the service.

I was trying to eat healthy, so I went for the strawberry chicken salad.  Sad trombone.  The berries were good, the chicken was good, the lettuce was good, but there wasn't really anything spectacular or tasty about the dish as a whole.  I don't know exactly what it needed, but I do know I only ate half of it and was still hungry for something else.

I was in the back area, the "night club." It was an ok environment. Drinks didn't cost too much. They played some hip hop dance music. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here, unless a friend invited me.

The French Onion soup is overpriced, and the TVs in the bar have a terrible picture.  Not a good place to go if you want to watch sports.

We went here for lunch with about 20 hockey players/parents. They set us up in a nice, enclosed patio area that had flat panel tvs with the hockey game playing, and a huge fireplace that made the room nice and cozy. The food was good too - I had a really good beer-fried pastrami sandwich and homemade chips. My son had an egg/bacon/cheese burger. He said it was good too (he is a man of few words).

Nice place to grab a drink and watch some sports, love the remodeling they have done looks great. Nothing however stands out except for there bbq chicken ranch dip which is excellent. Everything is just average to below average...pizza, wings, sandwiches...always get good service and usually a good, fun crowd.

Let me start with a bit of a disclaimer: I was staying with my parents for 3 months before moving from Pittsburgh to Denver.  They live less than a mile from this place.  As a result, we spent a LOT of time here to get out of the house.

This is a great place to grab some drinks, or some dinner, or some appetizers.  The space is huge and the menu is just about as large.  Typically, I'm not a fan of the huge menu, but somehow it seems to work at this place.  I think that's because I was here so often, I wasn't always in the mood for the same thing.  They have bar food, they have pasta, they have pizza, they have salads.  Pretty much anything you might be craving, you can find it or something close on the menu.

I was here a few months back on a visit to my parents and was pleasantly surprised with a turkey club on a pretzel roll.  It was awesome.

The drinks are reasonably priced, and service has always been friendly and consistent.  They have a good happy hour, which is hard to find in this neck of the woods.  It does get really crowded for hockey and football games, but it's a sports bar, isn't it supposed to?

Stopped in after work for a little time to relax with some friends.  There is a large Bamboo Bar and deckhouse in the back that was hopping and has so many TV's.  We went into the main building to the bar and it was not as busy.  Nice atmosphere, good service and very reasonably priced drinks!  We split some pizza, Lounge Fries covered with cheese and bacon that came with some ranch dressing for dipping and Nachos covered in cheddar cheese, taco beef, diced tomatoes, lettuce & jalapenos for some good heart stuffing/stopping munchies.  The food was OK, though not a real fan of the pizza.  Pizza was thin crust and firm but the sauce had an off taste that just didn't make it for me.

we had gone on an epic journey in search of my elusive next dishwasher.  (don't ask cuz the story's too long, but suffice it to say we finally bought 1, now begins the 4-6 week wait for it.) we began in castle shannon & ended up in erie, yeah, erie, for a dishwasher!!! we were now on our way home, without a dishwasher, & we were tired & hungry! i went through our enjoy book to see what coupons i had!! we chose the lounge on rt. 19 to soothe our disappointed bodies.
this place is huge. plus, it's 2 different buildings! the deckhouse out back is a giant bar. it was packed. we went to the restaurant which you get to by walking through another bar. it was empty, too nice a day, everyone was out back. but the restaurant was packed. we opted to sit at a booth in the bar. we had the bartender all to ourselves! she was really nice. the ceilings are high, cathedral ceiling high, so sounds are amplified.
we got a glass of wine for $5.50 each. nothing exciting, my choice for red was cab or merlot, but decent. i got the shrimp bruscetta pasta for $14.99. it came with a salad & the homemade "garlic lover's" rolls. tom got the giant fish sandwich for $9.99. they have a smaller 1 for $8.29. he also had sweet potato fries.
our food came quickly. tom's fish was HUGE!!! no lie, he broke it in 1/2, put a piece on each bun & the fish hung 2" over on all sides!!! needless to say, he was quite happy with it & was too full for dessert! (that doesn't happen often!) the pasta was made with diced tomatoes, fresh basil & linguine in a white wine sauce, with shaved parmesan cheese on top & a good balsamic drizzled over top. the shrimp were succulent & perfectly cooked. i'm getting hungry just thinking about it!!! BUT, the best part of my meal were the rolls!!!! i want the recipe!!! 3 of them on a plate sitting in garlic butter. you'd think they'd get soggy, but no! when you pulled on them to break a piece off, they DEFLATED like a souffle, or a balloon!!! they were SO light, airy, soft! omg!!!! they come as appetizers too, so i will defintely remember that!!! i could make a total pig of myself & eat platefuls of them!
the bill for all of that goodness was $38, minus the $10 for the enjoy coupon, $28 plus a tip! SO worth it!!!

Place is large.  There is plenty of seating and they have great lunch specials.  The food is american comfort, pizza, burgers and sandwiches.  Also great happy hour specials.  The place gets packed for drinks.

I guess I had a hard time digging this joint for a multitude of reasons...

Everything was meh... food, service, decor, crowd... definitely not my cup of tea but I can see why some people may enjoy it.  I am more of a city gal and this was definitely more of a suburban experience.

Eat here often!  They did a great job remodeling it because they needed it.  The San Fran Cobb salad is the best.  Not bad wraps and wings either.  Tons of tvs so it makes watching the games nice but compared to Buffalo Wild Wings TVs, they don't have anything on NPLs.

Food was unimpessive.  I would like to try the Medures dish.  I used to live in New Castle and Medure's had a great red sauce.  On thepositive side the atmosphere is decent for a sports bar, probably a notch above most in the area.

Good not great, typical menu with something for everybody. There is a game room down stairs so if you need a break from the kids they can go play.

Out back there is a separate bar that gets going on the weekends. Nice place but I don't think it is anything to go out of your way for.

The Deckhouse is my family and friends' good old standby restaurant.  I like that it's in that nether-region between Cranberry and Zelie, away from the action, and is super convenient to where my parents live in Glen Eden.  I've never been crazy about their parking lot, however.  Unless you get lucky, it's likely you'll be parking in the lower lot next to the actual deckhouse.

We always get good food and decent service here, and often place orders for takeout.  My personal favorites are the Lounge Lickers and the garlic wings, the bbq chicken flatbread appetizer, and their grilled vegetable-and-rice dish.  Really, though, there's nothing I've tried from here that I haven't liked.

As for Sunday Brunch, however, my parents and I tried it once and we really weren't impressed, and we aren't exactly a hard crowd to please.  The MTO omelettes were extra, the cold salad selections were skimpy both in variety and portion (they ran out of fruit for a long time), and it just wasn't great overall.  Stick to what you know, Deckhouse: lunch and dinner.

We LOVE brunches.  when we first moved to Cranberry, we went in search of a good sunday brunch.  we came across this place, and decided to try it..

Ugh. what a disappointment!  My hubby is more of a breakfast person, but not me!  I want lunch food (soup, and/or salad is key)  Just gimmie one choice and I'm happy..

They had .. some nasty lookin pot roast ... and a pan of sliced up -from a frozen box - turkey ... some perogies dripping with butter... I think maybe some dried up rigatoni ... NOTHING very appetizing, it looked like a trailer park picnic *gag*

I ended up having a salad (lettuce and dressing.. if u can call that a salad) and a piece of turkey .. which ended up bein so dry I could barely swallow.  The only part i think was even average/edible was the omlett bar...

    Update:

We went again with friends who insisted that the regular menu is much better than the brunch.. and  it was!  It exceeded our expectations... and turned out to be pretty tastey.  I'd probably come back for sandwiches.. or a burger.. but NOT brunch.
