  Attended their first open mic night at NVT. The place is a hole-in-the-wall but perfect for locals looking to get away from the busy and hyped-up RVC bars. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

  The old Fat Heads is gone, and is now the North Village Tavern.  Updated and new, it's ridding itself of its former seedy reputation, and is now open earlier for lunch.  The daytime bartender, Sherry, formerly at MacArther Park, is great.  Always friendly and smiling, she'll keep your drink filled and your time at the bar enjoyable.  And the lunch I mentioned, well, it's good, nice meaty burgers, crisp fries, tasty wings, and more.  Overall a nice neighborhood bar that you should definitely check out!
