Our Town Grille

We used Jerry at Our Town Grille to cater our daughter's Christening.  Everything was outstanding! Not your typical brunch, this was so classy.  Jerry spent time with us making suggestions about what works best and how to serve everything.  We had quiches, grilled salmon, vegetables, crepes - everything was delicious!

This is one of my favorite places to go on Long Island.  All of the food is delicious as well as creative and the atmosphere makes for a great meal.  Not only is the food great but the staff including the owner/only chef are inviting and cheerful and makes the meal taste that much better.  I've lived on Long Island my entire life and only heard about this place within the last year; it is now a regular spot for me and I frequent almost every week.  

Anytime someone asks me "What is a good place to go to eat?" I gladly reply with OUR TOWN!!!  Just beware of only one thing-it is a luncheonette and the only day that they are open for dinner is Friday night.  The dinner specials will blow you away.

I am always looking for great new Breakfast places,and I found one.This is an old fashioned Ice cream parlour,lunchonette that has been modernized,but still has that old fashioned feel to it.It is also spotless.The Breakfasts are great,and the coffee is top notch.Service is good and prices are reasonable.My guess Weekends they are mobbed but I have gone on weekday mornings and I will go back.It is worth a drive from neighboring towns.They do not accept Credit cards,but the prices are not high.As far as I know Parking is on the street,but a quarter gives you one hour.
