We stop in here for lunch on occasion. I still have yet to find anything that really wow's me. This last time I got an olive burger. The burger was a tad over cooked and they didn't season it as it cooked. It just never tastes the same if you have to after the fact. The bun was nice and soft, I did enjoy that. I'm sure I'll go back because my coworkers like it, but it would not choose to go there on my own. Its just good enough that I won't complain if we go.
Review Source:You know those weird looking grocery stores people in horror movies always stop at before heading out to a disastrous camping trip? The ones in the middle of nowhere that usually have a creepy old man who warns them all not to go on the campsite? That's kind of what this place reminds me of... but with automatic doors. And a lot less run down. But it gives off that vibe.
Forget the grocery part. That's not why we're here. In the back you'll find some of the best damn sandwiches you've ever had made hot and fresh for you. While the atmosphere may leave a little bit to be desired, they more than make up for it with their awesome food. Besides, when you're eating here you're rubbing shoulders with the blue collar workers and farmers from surrounding areas. It's a good thing.
All the sandwiches, to my knowledge, are made with Boar's Head sandwich meats. You can't get much better than that, man. It's kinda like Zingerman's Deli right here in our Grand Rapids area. But not quite. Quality ingredients make these some of the best damn things you'll have made for you.
Pricing is about typical for a "real" restaurant. But, again, with the quality it's not an issue.I'd guess the average price of a sandwich here to be about $7. A sandwich can easily be split between two people for  satisfying (but not overly so) lunch. Especially if you're shring those chips too.
I'm seeing a lot of stuff on here about their burgers, which I've never had. I guess that's something for next time I'm in here.
Anyway, cop a sandwich from here. You won't be sorry.
O'briens has the best SouthWest Burger in North America hands down. I was in GR for 4 weeks for work and my coworkers and I went there 6 times just to get the burgers. Andddd....on Wednesday's, their Burgers come with Fries for $5.
I wish they opened up a burger chain in Chicago because no other burger compares. I mean, the bun is so flakey and buttery and the meat is seasoned perfectly and the toppings are elite.
P.S. the Fries are mouth watering.
